Anthony Oxley will be the next player for the URBL to sign a professional contract to play overseas. Anthony Oxley (5'8''-G-86, college: Mount Aloysius) of Austin Flash signed a one year deal with the Sheffield Arrows (United Kingdom). Oxley also had a great season for the URBL playing with the Austin Flash. He averaged 16.8ppg and 9.8apg added with a selection to the All-Star team and being voted 2nd Team All-URBL by the coaches and players. The former Atlanta Christian player Will De La Cruz (6'2''-G-80) signed wit the ABA. He agreed on terms with the ABAs Georgia Prowl. The Prowl is the expansion team that is scheduled to take the start in November. They will be located in Atlanta, Georgia. The 28-year-old Will De La Cruz was among the best performers of the URBL last season. The guard was named to the NCAA Division 3 HM All-American Team in college. Kearse finished the season 2008-09 with SISU CPH in the Danish Canal Digital Ligaen averaging 22.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1.8 assists per game in 29.8 minutes per game on the court. He finished the regular season as the second scorer with 22.5 PPG, seventh rebounder with 8.3 RPG, fifth in steals with 2.7 SPG, while he is also sixth in the number of fouls drawn per game.
