Panteras de Mexicali (LNBPF) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old American-Mexican 168cm guard Mia Castaneda (college: Washburn). The last time (20) she played at Oklahoma Outlaws (WUBA) in the U.S. In 10 games she averaged an impressive 20.2ppg, 5.3rpg, 3.2apg, 1.5spg, FGP: 44.4%.

Castaneda missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.

She graduated from Washburn University in 2020 and it will be her second season in pro basketball.
