Toccara Ross agreed terms with Toronto Basket for 2021 United Cup

Toccara Ross

MCC Toronto Basket inked experienced 34-year old American ex-international forward Toccara Ross (184cm-86, college: Iowa State, agency: LBM Management) for upcoming season. She played last summer at East Bay Splash (WUBA) in the U.S. Ross managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). She ended the last season at Esperance Sportive Pully in Swiss SBL where in four games she recorded very impressive stats: 27.0ppg, 8.3rpg and 2.5spg. But the most of that year Ross spent at Cote d'Opale Basket Calais in French LF2. In 5 games she averaged 8.8ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.0apg.

She also played at the South American Club Championships Finalist seven years ago.

Ross is a very experienced player. She has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). Ross has played previously professionally in Australia (Frankston Blues, Lady Bandits and Cavaliers), Finland (Tapiolan Honka), Israel (Holon), Puerto Rico (San Juan, Mets de Guaynabo, Cabo Rojo Turistas and Indios), Romania (Satu Mare), Uruguay (Malvin), Switzerland (Fribourg and Winterthur), France (Sceaux and Perpignan) and Colombia (Popayan).

Among many awards her team won Swiss League Cup in 2016. Ross received also Eurobasket.com All-Swiss LNA Honorable Mention award back in 2016.

She attended Iowa State until 2009 and it will be her 13th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
