Former WNBA Draft Pick Armelie Lumanu showed her world class form in leading the Lady Generals to their 3rd consecutive WUBA Championship, and winning the 2016 WUBA Finals MVP Award with a 25 point, 8 rebound, and 8 assists performance. Lumanu had a strong impact at both ends of the floor, playing point and leading the offense, and leading the charge on defense.

She closed the game and guaranteed the victory with nine 4th quarter points in the final 2 minutes as the Matrix strategy of intentionally fouling her put her at the line repeatedly. The Generals are champions because she made the big shots.

The WUBA has an extensive body of work which includes some of the leagues top players getting their very first professional overseas contract. Not only that, the WUBA has also revitalized the careers of former NCAA and WNBA Draftees with prior professional history allowing them a number of second wind opportunities to review their overseas careers.
