Round 11: Flames keep a leadership position

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Flames as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Flames defeated 9th ranked Lightning at home 114-100. Flames have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Lightning at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Charlottesville G.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Undefeated Raptors (1-1) recorded its first loss on the court of leader Hurricanes. Visitors were rolled over by Hurricanes 116-79. Undefeated Hurricanes (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain second place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row behind leader Diamond City F. Raptors at the other side keep the fourth position with one game lost. Hurricanes will play against Bears (#7) in Myrtle Beach in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Raptors will have a break next round.

However their fans expected easier game. Quiet maintains sixth place with 5-6 record. Knights lost their third game in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Pee Dee B. and Perservance P.. Quiet will meet higher ranked Gladiators (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Knights will have a break next round.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 11: Lehigh Valley destroyed Raza R. on the opponent's court 118-98. Lords of War unfortunately lost to VA Beach W. in a home game 121-133. Charlottesville G. recorded a loss to Fredericksburg G. on the road 128-139. DMV Warriors defeated Beltway B. on its own court 125-121.



Shreveport K. - Quiet as Kept 95-97

Seventh-ranked Knights (0-3) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Quiet (5-6) in Shreveport on Saturday. The visitors managed to secure only two-point victory 97-95. There was a surprise result in Baltimore where twelfth ranked Wildcats (2-3) defeated higher ranked Lords of War (3-7) 133-121 on Saturday. Wildcats moved-up to ninth place. Lords of War lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with seven games lost. Wildcats will meet at home Tigers (#13) in the next round. Lords of War will have a break next round.
