C.J. Massiburg, the 2022 TBT MVP, led the way with 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting, and Blue Collar U cruised past Virginia Dream 107-86. Jeremy Harris (6'7''-G-1996, college: Buffalo) added 16 points, and Nick Perkins (6'8''-F/C-1996, college: Buffalo) and Blake Hamilton (6'6''-G/F-1994, college: Buffalo) added 14 points apiece in the win for the University of Buffalo alumni squad, which led by 19 points at the end of the first quarter and never trailed. Robert Colon scored 20 points in the losing effort for Virginia Dream, which missed its first eight three-point attempts and allowed 25 points off 17 turnovers.
(2) Boeheim's Army 83, (3) The Nerd Team 75
Grant Riller (6'3''-SG-1997, college: Charleston) was the star for the second consecutive game, scoring a team-high 27 points in Boeheim's Army's 83-75 victory over The Nerd Team. Riller, who played collegiately at College of Charleston and poured in 20 points in the opening-round win over Team Gibson, connected on 11-of-17 field goals. Prentiss Hubb (6'3''-G-1999, college: Notre Dame), whose 16 points led the way in a Round 1 win over the Happy Valley Hoopers, once again paced the scoring attack for The Nerd Team and finished with 19 points.

(2) Friday Beers 84, (7) Athletics Miami 72
Dee Bost scored a team-high 20 points, and Friday Beers ran away from Athletics Miami with a 10-0 second-half run in an opening-round, 84-72 victory. Bost scored six of the team's eight points during the Elam Ending. TBT veteran Julian Gamble (6'10''-C-1989, college: Miami, FL) contributed a double-double (16 points, 12 rebounds) in the win for Friday Beers, which improved to 9-0 all-time in first-round games in TBT. Royce Hamm led all scorers with 24 points in the losing effort for Athletics Miami, which fell to 0-2 all-time in TBT.
(6) Men of Mackey 70, (3) Team Colorado 68
Isaiah Wilkerson's elbow jumper banked in, and the Men of Mackey capped a 12-point second-half comeback in a 70-68 victory over Team Colorado. Wilkerson scored seven of the final nine points for the Purdue University alumni squad, which ended the game on a 20-8 run. Nojel Eastern (6'6''-G-1999, college: Purdue) had 11 points and a team-high six rebounds for Men of Mackey, who won despite being outscored 42-18 in the paint. Jeriah Horne (6'7''-F-1998, college: Tulsa) and Shannin Sharpe tallied 13 points apiece in the losing effort for Team Colorado, which made just four of 18 three-point attempts.
(4) Carmen's Crew 80, (5) Team Overtime 68
Kaleb Wesson scored a team-high 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting to lead Carmen's Crew to an 80-68 win over Team Overtime. Keith Wesson, Jr. added 13 points in the win for the Ohio State University alumni squad, which outscored Team Overtime, 44-14, in the paint. David Efianayi (6'2''-SG-1995, college: Gardner-Webb) led all scorers with 19 points in the losing effort for Team Overtime, which shot just 31% in the second half.
(8) India Rising 77, (1) Red Scare (Dayton) 67
Tajinder Lall scored a game-high 26 points, and India Rising held off a furious rally from top-seeded Red Scare to pull off one of the most stunning upsets in TBT history, winning 77-67. Venkatesha Joas pulled down 12 rebounds, including six offensive, for India Rising, which won its first TBT game despite committing 24 turnovers which led to 19 Red Scare points. Jordan Sibert had 19 points in the losing effort for Red Scare, which went just 9-for-33 from beyond the arc. Sibert hit a free throw to cut the India Rising lead to 71-67 during Elam Ending, sending the Red Scare crowd into a frenzy. But, the University of Dayton alumni squad never scored again, and India Rising pulled off the upset.
