With Malone, Gatson and Patterson being the rookies on the squad, the other stable of players all have global experience on the pro level. Favors has played in Finland among other spots, while George played in Slavakia, Harper in Japan and Morton in the Ukraine. Rush saw time in Russia, while brother Markel and Quin Humphrey have spent time in Holland and Portugal, respectively. Calvin Goss is an SEBL summer pro league veteran and Benton has played in various countries around the world in Greece. Quin Humphrey and Benton have both also logged a significant amount of duty in the NBDL.
South Division #2 seed Black Monopoly, a mainstay in the SEBL over the last five years, will face off against Marietta Saturday August 7th, 2010. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00pm at JH Morgan Gymnasium on the campus of the Summer Hill Education Complex at 129 Aubrey Street Cartersville, GA 30120.
