Round 10 (Regular Season): Cavaliers edge Reapers by three points

The most exciting game of round 10 in the SCBL took place in Siler City. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Reapers (5-4) to fourth ranked Cavaliers (5-3) 130-127 in the game for the third place. Cavaliers have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Reapers at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with CE Pirates. Cavaliers are looking forward to face Pacers (#8) in Durham in the next round where they are favorite. Reapers will have a break next round.
Undefeated leader Coyotes delivered the ninth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Flight (4-5) 125-104 in Durham. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Flight. Undefeated Coyotes (9-0) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row. Flight at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Coyotes will play against league's second-placed Showstoppers in Fayetteville in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Flight will play on the road against Pirates (#5) in Myrtle Beach and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Durham supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Pirates (5-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Pacers (3-5). Pirates smashed Pacers 173-142 on Saturday. Pirates moved-up to fourth place, which they share with SC Reapers. Loser Pacers keep the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Durham Kings. Pirates will meet at home Flight (#6) in the next round. Pacers will play against Cavaliers in Savannah and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 10 bottom-ranked Wolverines was crushed by Showstoppers in Fayetteville 171-150. Durham Kings smashed Carolina Elite at home 135-104.



Triangle Pacers - CE Pirates 142-173

The game in Durham supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Pirates (5-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Pacers (3-5). Pirates smashed Pacers 173-142 on Saturday. Pirates moved-up to fourth place, which they share with SC Reapers. Loser Pacers keep the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Durham Kings. Pirates will meet at home Flight (#6) in the next round. Pacers will play against Cavaliers in Savannah and hope to secure a win.

Showstoppers - Wolverines 171-150

There was no surprise in Fayetteville where 10th ranked Wolverines (1-7) were crushed by third ranked Showstoppers (6-3) 171-150 on Sunday. Showstoppers moved-up to second place. Wolverines lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Showstoppers will meet league's leader Coyotes in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wolverines will play against Elite (#9) in Whiteville and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

SC Reapers - Cavaliers 127-130

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Kings' (3-5) home victory over 9th ranked Elite (2-7) 135-104 on Saturday. Kings moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Triangle Pacers. Elite lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost. Kings will again meet at home Elite (#9) in the next round. Elite will play against Wolverines and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
