Council
Rochester RazorSharks confirmed in their roster experienced 34-year old guard Melvin Council (191-91kg-82, college: Robert Morris). He played there last season.
The previous (14-15) season he played at Brampton A's in Canadian NBL Canada where in 14 games he had 4.7ppg and 1.8rpg.
In 2007 Council was drafted by Austin Toros (D-League) in third round (40th overall).
The former Robert Morris College (NAIA) standoutis in his tenth season in pro basketball.
Council was voted All-NAIA D1 1st Team back in 2007 at his college time.
Council is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Mexico (Barreteros), IBL (Gary S.), NABL (Snohomish C.) and Canada (Saint John Mill Rats).
Council could be described: A combo guard who is equally adept at the point guard and shooting guard slots. He can pass, drive, and shoot. Melvin is very quick and likes to shoot the ball from 3 point range.
