Kevin Williams Pre- Season Predictions- November 13, 2015
The NEBA Kicks off it's 2015-2016 Winter season tonight when the Memphis Lions travels to Texas in what the NBA would call the Texas Triangle. Memphis will face Garland Hoyas Friday, San Antonio Kings Saturday, and Austin Knights on Sunday. This process the last three months has been the most rewarding 90 days in my basketball career. Starting with one team the Houston Xperience and expanding into twenty markets in 45 days was more than I could imagine. We have eight teams participating in the Winter season and all of our teams have a shot at the championship. I started this league in 2013 in Houston, Texas as a development league to help players and coaches receive exposure when other leagues was not providing them with the opportunity that the needed. I am proud of that fact that the NEBA helped over 23 players receive international contracts and four of our former players are currently in the NBA D League. This season we will see a ton of talent in the NEBA and with the start of our own Television Network fans from all around the world can see these players showcase their talent. I wanted to give the fans something to follow this season so I created my preseason predictions based off my team owners, coaches, and players that I think will make a impact this season. We will all follow these teams, coaches, and players progress to see if my predictions is correct! #Respectthemovement Guard- Ladarrin Williams (6'1''-G) Forward- Decorey Young (6'7''-F-85, college:Cumberland, agency: USA) - Houston Xperience Forward- Joseph Clifford (6'7''-F-89)- San Antonio Kings All NEBA 3rd Team Guard- Bobby Jones (6'3''-G-91, college: Tenn-Martin)- Memphis Lions Guard- Tyrie Prince (6'2''-G)- San Antonio Kings Forward- Anthony Coleman (6'6''-C)- Austin Knights Forward- Melvin Allen (6'7''-F-83, agency: Marcher Sports)- Garland Hoyas 6th Man of the Year Candidates BJ Mathews- San Antonio Kings Brandon Taylor (6'3''-G-91)- Houston Xperience Joel Jones (6'3''-G)- Austin Knights Steven Johunkin- Garland Hoyas 6th Man of the Year Brandon Taylor (6'3''-G-91)- Houston Xperience MVP Candidates Jarvis Bradley- Garland Hoyas Haakim Johnson- CFL Marvel D'Mond Grismore- Austin Knights Christian Sonier- Houston Xperience Jahrell Holmes- Memphis Lions MVP Haakim Johnson- CFL Marvel Rookie of the year Candidates Isaac Mack (6'1''-G-92)- Houston Xperience LeShaun Murphy (6'0''-PG, college: Auburn-Montgomery)- Garland Hoyas Eric Robinson (6'2''-G)- Austin Knights Larry Green- Memphis Lions Rookie of the year Larry Green- Memphis Lions Final 4 Prediction 1.
