The Atlanta Live will be without their second overall pick in the 2014 NEBA Draft. Instead the former 1st team All-SWAC forward, Quinton Doggett (6'8''-F, college: Southern), will be playing overseas in Nicaragua. Bitter sweet, he was one of our top three players, he could play the 3,4, and 5 positions for us, Terence Coley, President of the Atlanta Live, speaking of Doggett, but that is what the NEBA is about, getting players to the next level. Doggett was a starter last year for Galitos - Tley, and helped lead his team to the Portuguese Cup finals. Doggett averages 13.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game for Galitos - Tley. The versatile 68 forward leaves major holes to fill for the Atlanta Live. Hurts us for sure, he was 2 or 3 players in one. We will not be able to replace him with just one player. said Coley. The Atlanta Live will tipoff their season July 12th against the Washington D.C. Nation in Washington D.C.
