Aston Francis of Wheaton College has been a stat-filler all season so far. The senior guard from is averaging 31.2 points per contest which gives him the top spot among all scorers in the NCAA Division 3.

Francis was named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week by D3Hoops.com three times in a row. He had a season-high 49 points against North Park on January 19. While dominating the scoring column, he also averages 7.6 rebounds as well as 3.4 assists a game. His Wheaton College Thunder is currently 15-6, (8-4 in conference play). Francis is the only player to average double digits in scoring on his team.

Last year, Francis was a Jostens Award finalist after scoring 27.4 points per game on the 2017-18 season.

Lorensen steps down at DIII Buena Vista - 18 hours ago
Buena Vista University Director of Athletics Jack Denholm on Wednesday announced the resignation of Todd Lorensen , head men's basketball coach. 'I met with Coach Lorensen today and he submitted his resignation as he prepares for another opportunity,' Denholm said. Wooster head coach Steve Moore to retire - 21 days ago
Steve Moore, head coach of The College of Wooster, will retire at the end of the 2019-20 academic year, the school announced. Associate head coach Doug Cline will take over the head coaching job.
