Husson University defeated Thomas for the 2019 NAC Men's Basketball Championship with a final score of 82-67, after entering the tournament as the number two seed. Husson improves to 17-10 on the season, while Thomas sees their season come to a close at 14-13 after knocking off the number one seed to reach the championship game. The Terriers came away with the early advantage, holding a 10-4 lead at the 15:46 mark of the first. The Eagles chipped away and eventually took the lead at 7:49 when a Justin Thompson (6'4''-G) layup made it 27-26. Husson built their lead over the next four minutes, eventually holding a 40-31 advantage with 3:12 to go in the first. Thomas answered with a 9-0 run to close the quarter and tie the score at 40-40 heading into halftime. The Eagles took back control quickly, going on a 12-2 run over the first 2:39 of the second half to take a 52-42 lead. Husson continued to hold the Terriers off through the remainder of the half and clinched the NAC Championship with the 82-67 victory. Justin Martin (6'6''-F) led all scorers with 26 points and added nine rebounds and four blocks for the Eagles. Justin Thompson chipped in 19 along with six boards and six assists. Zach Mackinnon (6'2''-G) led the Terriers with 18 points and five rebounds. Jordan Goodson (5'10''-PG) and Justin Butler (5'11''-PG) each scored 13 and had five rebounds apiece, while Goodson added four steals.
