We bring you last week's top former SFU players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Julian Roche (6'11''-C/F-1997, played in 2018-22, plays pro in North Macedonia) could not help Rabotnicki in their last game. Despite his very good performance the third-placed Rabotnicki lost 74-79 at home to the lower-ranked (#4) Kumanovo MK in the Play-Off group.
Roche was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Roche's third season in pro basketball. Roche has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 8.1rpg and 1.3bpg in 15 games he played so far.
#2. Michael Harper (6'4''-G/F-1993, played in 2014-16, plays in Australia) was not able to help Waverley Falcons in their game against Thunder (9-2) in the Australian NBL One (second division).
He scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
The 12th-placed Waverley Falcons (5-6) were defeated 75-70 on the road by the second-ranked Thunder in the South group.
It's Harper's eighth season with the team.
This year Harper averages 5.4ppg and 3.5rpg.
#3. Kedar Salam N'Kosi (6'3''-G-1994, played in 2015-15, currently in Spain) led La Roda to a victory over the second-ranked Torrent (21-1) crushing them 68-44 in the Spanish Tercera FEB (fourth division) on Thursday night.
He was MVP of the game. N'Kosi recorded 21 points in 25 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group B-B. Fundacion Globalcaja La Roda (18-8) is placed third.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
N'Kosi has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.4ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg in 30 games.
N'Kosi has also Jamaican nationality.
#4. Experienced Pape Seck (6'10''-C/F-1992, played in 2014-14, plays pro in Spain) managed to help Logro Basket Club Cocinas.com to win against the leader Aridane (21-5) 69-61 in the Spanish Tercera FEB (fourth division) in Thursday night's game.
He recorded only 3 points.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A-A. Logro Basket Club Cocinas.com (20-6) is placed first.
It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Seck's fourth season with the team.
This year Seck averages 2.5ppg and 1.8rpg.
