Best performed former MSU Denver players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Roadrunners players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Brandon Jefferson (5'9''-PG-91, graduated '14, plays pro in France) could not help Entente Orleans 45 (18-7) in their last game. Despite his good performance Entente Orleans 45 lost 70-78 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#15) Denain Voltaire. Jefferson had a double-double by scoring 13 points and making 10 passes. He also added 4 rebounds and 3 steals in 36 minutes. Jefferson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 5.7apg and 1.1spg in 25 games he played so far.

   #2. Experienced Benjamin Ortner (6'9''-C/F-83, graduated '05, plays in Italy) was not able to help Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia in their game against Dolomiti En. TR (14-11) in the Italian Serie A. He recorded 6 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia was defeated 84-80 in Trento by the higher-ranked Dolomiti En. TR (#8). This season Ortner averages 5.0ppg and 3.2rpg.

   #3. Peter Moller (6'3''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Denmark) was the major contributor in Svendborg's victory against the fifth-ranked Randers (13-11) 86-82 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Monday night's game. He recorded 17 points in 27 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Moller's first season in pro basketball. Svendborg Rabbits (13-11) is placed fourth in ProA group. It's Moller's first year with the team. This season he averages 9.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg in 25 games.

   #4. Cameron Williams (6'1''-G-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Australia) was not able to secure a victory for East Perth Eagles (4-12) in their game against Giants (4-2) in the Australian State League (second division). Despite his very good performance on Saturday night Williams was the top scorer with 28 points. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Williams has very high stats. He averages 18.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.4apg and 3.0spg.

   #5. David Barlow (6'9''-F-83, graduated '03, plays in Australia) couldn't help Sandringham Sabres (0-2) in their game against Dandenong Rangers (3-0) in the Australian State League (second division), despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 10 rebounds. Barlow also added 5 assists in 34 minutes. It was his first game for Sandringham Sabres this season. But the 18th-placed Sandringham Sabres (0-2) lost 83-90 in Dandenong to the second-ranked Rangers in the NBL1 group. But the season just started, so everything may happen.

   #6. Drew Williamson (6'5''-G/F-83, graduated '06, currently in Australia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Cameron Williams and both played together in the last Australian State League game. Williamson couldn't help East Perth Eagles in their game against Giants. Despite his very good performance last Saturday He scored 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Williamson has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.2apg and 1.7spg.

   #7. Paul Brotherson (6'6''-F-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Australia) couldn't help Hills Hornets in their game against Sydney City Comets in the Australian State League (second division), despite his good performance on Saturday night. He had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds in 31 minutes. But his team were badly defeated by 17 points 88-71. Brotherson has very impressive stats this year 15.8ppg, 8.8rpg, 2.2apg and 1.4spg in five games. He has also Australian citizenship.
