We bring you last week's top former Buccaneers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Yunio Barrueta (6'4''-F/G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in France) led Sluc Nancy Basket Pro to a victory over the 11th-ranked Lille Metropole (10-15) 78-69 in the French ProB (second division) on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Barrueta recorded 19 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (18-7) is placed second in the ProB. It's Barrueta's first year with the team. Barrueta has relatively good stats this season 11.6ppg and 3.8rpg. He is a naturalized Cuban.

#2. Elvar Fridriksson (5'11''-PG-94, graduated '18, plays in Iceland) could not help Njardvik (17-5) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Njardvik lost 74-86 at home to the lower-ranked (#6) IR. Fridriksson was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 5 assists; not bad, considering it's only Fridriksson's first season in pro basketball. It's Fridriksson's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Fridriksson averages 21.2ppg, 6.0rpg, 5.3apg and 1.2spg in 21 games he played so far.

#3. Theo Turner (7'0''-C-93, graduated '12, currently in Germany), who plays in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) was not able to help Recklinghausen (13-4) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance the second-placed Recklinghausen (13-4) was crushed 97-67 on the road by the lower-ranked Herford (#5) in the West group. Turner was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in 31 minutes. The Regular Season already ended. Turner has relatively good stats this season 12.3ppg, 9.2rpg and 1.7apg.

#4. Sunday Dech (6'5''-G-94, graduated '18, plays pro in Australia) was not able to secure a victory for East Perth Eagles (4-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance his team were crushed 110-88 in Willetton by the much lower-ranked (#8) Tigers in the SBL group. Dech was the top scorer with 22 points. He also added 4 boards, dished 4 assists and stole 4 balls. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Dech has very impressive stats this year 19.8ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.5spg in four games.

#5. Juan Ferrales (6'2''-G-91, graduated '15, plays in Norway) contributed to Kongsberg's victory against the closely-ranked Gimle BBK (22-5) 81-76 in the Norwegian BLNO in Monday night's game.
