Every week we bring you a list of the top former Mavericks players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Assem Marei (6'9''-F-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Turkey) led his Turkish team Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir to a victory over the seventh-ranked Ventspils 70-65 in the FIBA Europe Cup in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Marei had a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 17 rebounds in 38 minutes. Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (3-3) is placed second in group I. It's Marei's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 9.7rpg and 1.7apg in 13 games he played so far.

#2. Zach Monaghan (6'2''-G-92, graduated '15, plays in Spain) was the main contributor in a Leyma Basquet Coruna's surprising victory against the fourth-ranked Melilla Baloncesto (18-9) 70-67 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday. Monaghan was MVP of the game. He scored 14 points, grabbed 7 boards, dished 7 assists and stole 3 balls (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line). Leyma Basquet Coruna (5-17) is placed 13th in the LEB Gold. This season Monaghan averages 8.4ppg, 1.6rpg, 4.4apg and 1.3spg.

#3. Experienced Jamel Staten (6'6''-G-83, graduated '05, currently in Dominican Republic), who plays in the Dominican Rep. Santiago League (second division) could not help Sameji (3-3) in their last game. Despite Staten's very good performance the third-placed Sameji (3-3) lost 91-102 in a derby game to the leading Cupes in the Places 1-4 group. He scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 38 minutes. The Second Stage already ended. Staten has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 21.9ppg, 8.4rpg, 3.7apg and 1.4spg in 15 games.

#4. Corey Easley (6'10''-F/C-83, graduated '06, plays pro in Australia) was not able to help Kalamunda Eastern Suns in their game against Giants (1-1) in the Australian State League (second division). His contribution was not very remarkable in Sunday's game. Easley scored only 3 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. his team were crushed 98-65 on the road by the much lower-ranked Giants (#7) in the SBL group. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Easley averages 2.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 3.0apg.

#5. Chris Kendrix (6'5''-G-95, graduated '18, plays in Spain) contributed to Carbajosa's victory against the 11th-ranked Betanzos (8-13) 93-86 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Sunday. Kendrix recorded 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in a mere 19 minutes. Aquimisa Carbajosa (10-11) is placed eighth in Group A-B. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
