Best performed former Francis Marion University players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Patriots players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Dominique Coleman (6'6''-G/F-88, graduated '11, plays pro in Brazil) was the major contributor in a Minas Belo Horizonte's victory against the 12th-ranked CR Vasco Da Gama Rio de Janeiro (5-13) 92-81 in the Brazilian NBB last Monday. He scored 20 points and added 3 passes in 33 minutes. Minas Belo Horizonte (3-7) is placed fourth in the NBB. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. It's Coleman's first season with the team. Coleman has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg in 19 games he played so far.

   #2. Experienced O'Louis McCullough (6'6''-G/F-82, graduated '04, plays in Chile) could not help Club Deportes Espanol de Talca (4-4) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the third-placed Club Deportes Espanol de Talca (4-4) was badly defeated 91-74 on the road by the lower-ranked AB Ancud (#4) in the Conferencia Centro. McCullough was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season McCullough has very high stats. He averages 16.0ppg and 9.0rpg.

   #3. Tomas Hilmarsson (6'7''-F-95, graduated '17, currently in Iceland) led Stjarnan to a victory over the closely-ranked Tindastoll (12-6) crushing them 79-58 in the Icelandic Dominos League in Friday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Hilmarsson scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Stjarnan (14-4) is placed second in the Dominos League. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Hilmarsson averages 6.9ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.2apg in 18 games.

   #4. Brynjar Bjornsson (6'2''-G-88, graduated '09, plays pro in Iceland) faced previously mentioned Tomas Hilmarsson in the Icelandic Dominos League last game. Bjornsson was not able to help Tindastoll in their game against Stjarnan (11-9). He scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Tindastoll was crushed 79-58 at home by the lower-ranked Stjarnan (#5). It was Tindastoll's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Bjornsson's first season with the team. This year Bjornsson has very high stats. He averages 16.4ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.3apg.
