The No. 3 seed Catawba Indians went on a 14-3 run in the final four minutes of regulation to force overtime versus No. 1 seed Lincoln Memorial and held a late defensive stand in overtime to claim its second consecutive South Atlantic Conference Tournament title, 61-60, at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center Friday night. Lincoln Memorial's Wes Enis led all scorers with 15 points, while Catawba's Kaleb Wallace (6'5''-G) had 14 points and four rebounds. Also scoring in double figures for the Railsplitters was Osmar Garcia Araujo (6'7''-F) with 13 points and six rebounds with Martez Brown (6'9''-F-2000) adding 10 points and 13 rebounds and Jordan Walters (6'7''-F-2001) had 10 points and nine rebounds. Javeon Jones added 11 points and four rebounds for the Catawba Indians. A seven-person All-Tournament team was named with Catawba's Peyton Gerald (6'9''-F-2003) being named the tournament MVP.
