Deniya Prawl transfers to Louisville

University of Louisville added 19-year-old Canadian guard Deniya Prawl (6'2'') to their roster for the new 2026-27 season. The Toronto native moved there from University of Tennessee, where she spent her freshman year. In 29 games last season, she recorded 4.0ppg, 2.7rpg, and 1.0spg.
She graduated from Fort Erie International Academy (Fort Erie, ON) in 2025.
She represented Canada at the FIBA U17 World Cup for Women's in Mexico two years ago. Her team won Silver and she had almost 12 points per game. Prawl was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U17 Women's World Cup Honorable Mention in 2024.
