Emilija Dakic transfers to Cyclones

Iowa State University signed 19-year old Australian 5-10 guard Emilija Dakic for the upcoming season. She hails from Melbourne and is transferring from the University of Florida, where she played for one year. In 28 games last season, she averaged just 1.7ppg and 1.2rpg.
She played at BA Centre of Excellence between 2024-25. Dakic helped her team make it to the Australian NBL1 East Finals in 2025.
She represented Australia at the World Cup U19 for Women in Brno (Czech Republic) last year. Dakic's team won Silver and she averaged 2 points per game.
