University of Central Florida landed Nigerien 6-3 center Candace Kpetikou. She is the second import player in the roster as Italian Vittoria Blasigh signed here earlier. She comes from Niamey (Niger) native, and she is moving here from University of Miami where she played only for one year. But in 31 games last season she averaged just 1.5ppg and 2.4rpg.
She played at Washington State University between 2023-25, helping her team reach the WCC Tournament Semifinals and WNIT Sweet 16 in 2025.
Kpetikou graduated from St. Joseph Academy in San Marcos, CA in 2023.
