EuroBasket Pro Trojans Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Trojans alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. James White (6'8''-F-93, played in 2011-15, plays pro in Bulgaria) could not help Beroe (10-2) in their last game. Despite his good performance the league leader Beroe was badly defeated 110-91 on the road by the lower-ranked (#3) Balkan. White recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in a mere 16 minutes. It was Beroe's first loss after three consecutive victories. It's White's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.6ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.2apg in 17 games he played so far.

#2. Lis Shoshi (6'11''-C-94, graduated '17, plays in Israel) was not able to help Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia in their game against Maccabi T-A (25-6) in the Israeli Winner League. Despite his very good performance on Wednesday night He was the top scorer with 20 points. Shoshi also added 8 rebounds. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Shoshi's first season with the team. Shoshi has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 7.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2bpg.

#3. Jalen Jackson (6'6''-G/F-94, graduated '17, currently in Finland) led KTP Basket Kotka to a 1-point victory over the league leader Vilpas (36-11) 98-97 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Jackson scored 21 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. KTP Basket Kotka (23-21) is placed fifth in the Korisliiga. Jackson has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 6.1rpg, 3.3apg and 2.0spg in 26 games.

#4. Will Neighbour (6'11''-F/C-90, graduated '14, plays pro in United Kingdom) was not able to secure a victory for London CR (18-15) in their game against Leicester Riders (24-9) in the British BBL. Neighbour's contribution was not very remarkable in Sunday's game. He recorded only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. London CR was crushed 93-61 in Leicester by the second-ranked Riders. This season Neighbour averages 9.2ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.4apg.

#5. Tramar Sutherland (6'3''-G-89, graduated '12, plays in Canada) couldn't help the Hamilton Honey Badgers (1-2) in their game against the Saskatchewan Rattlers (3-1) in the CEBL. He did not have that impressive stats last Thursday. Sutherland scored only 2 points in 2 minutes on the court. The Hamilton Honey Badgers were badly defeated 113-95 in Saskatoon by the Saskatchewan Rattlers. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Sutherland averages 2.0ppg in two games.
