Best performed former Western Kentucky University players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Hilltoppers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. A.J. Slaughter (6'3''-G-87, graduated '10, plays pro in France) led ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket to a victory over the fifth-ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (20-12) crushing them 95-72 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA last Wednesday. He was MVP of the game. Slaughter scored 18 points and added 4 assists in 25 minutes. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (26-7) is placed first in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Slaughter has relatively good stats this year 11.2ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.9apg in 31 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Polish.

   #2. Darius Thompson (6'4''-G-95, graduated '18, plays in Holland) could not help Leiden (31-3) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance the league leader Leiden was defeated 84-71 on the road by the lower-ranked Groningen (#4). Thompson was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 7 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 5 balls. It's Thompson's first season with the team. Thompson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 5.4apg and 2.7spg.

   #3. Jeremy Evans (6'9''-F-87, graduated '10, currently in Turkey) was the major contributor in Darussafaka's victory against the 12th-ranked Buyukcekmece (8-20) crushing them 100-51 in the Turkish BSL in Saturday night's game. He scored 15 points, had 5 rebounds and made 4 blocks in a mere 19 minutes. Darussafaka Istanbul (14-4) is placed third in the BSL. The Regular Season already ended. It's Evans' first season with the team. Evans has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4bpg in 26 games.

   #4. T.J. Price (6'4''-G-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Hungary) was the main contributor in Kormend's victory against the third-ranked Szolnok (23-11) crushing them 88-68 in the Hungarian A Division last Wednesday. Price was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-5. Egis Kormend (25-9) is placed first. Price's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is very crucial. It's Price's first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Price averages 17.5ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.0apg and 1.4spg.

   #5. Nemanja Milosevic (6'9''-PF-87, graduated '10, plays in Hungary) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked JP-Auto JKSE (18-16) 85-68 in the Hungarian A Division on Saturday night. Milosevic scored 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 22 minutes. Szolnoki Olajbanyasz KK (23-11) is placed third in Places 1-5 group. His team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is quite important. Milosevic has relatively good stats this year 12.3ppg, 6.9rpg and 1.5apg in 21 games.

   #6. Sergio Kerusch (6'5''-F-89, graduated '11, currently in Germany) was not able to help Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels in their game against EWE Baskets in the German BBL. He scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team was edged 118-115. This season Kerusch averages 8.8ppg and 3.2rpg. He is a naturalized German.

   #7. Juan Patillo (6'8''-F-88, graduated '11, plays pro in Canada) contributed to an easy victory against the Guelph Nighthawks crushing them 130-110 in the CEBL last Saturday. He recorded 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. It was his first game for Saskatchewan Rattlers this season.

   #8. Kevin Kaspar (6'0''-PG-92, graduated '15, plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Yeni Mamak in their game against OGM Orman in the Turkish TBL (second division). Kaspar scored 7 points and added 3 assists. His team was badly defeated by 19 points 71-52. This season Kaspar averages 6.5ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.6apg.
