We bring you last week's top former Wildcats players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Alexandru Olah (7'0''-C-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Belgium) led Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen to a victory over the eighth-ranked Okapi Aalstar (12-22) crushing them 92-70 in the Belgian Euromillions League last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Olah scored 33 points (!!!) and grabbed 6 rebounds in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen (15-6) is placed fourth in the Euromillions League. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Olah has relatively good stats this year 12.3ppg and 6.9rpg in 34 games he played so far.

#2. Drew Crawford (6'5''-G-90, graduated '14, plays in Italy). He could not help Vanoli Basket Cremona (20-10) to beat Grissin Bon RE (9-21) in the Italian Serie A. Crawford scored 9 points. But Vanoli Basket Cremona was edged 82-81 on the road by the much lower-ranked Grissin Bon RE (#14). It was Vanoli Basket Cremona's first loss after five consecutive victories. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Crawford's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Crawford averages 17.8ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.0apg.

#3. John Shurna (6'9''-PF-90, graduated '12, currently in Spain) managed to help MoraBanc Andorra in a victory against the closely-ranked La ICL Manresa (16-16) 77-64 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Friday night's game. Shurna recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. MoraBanc Andorra (16-17) is placed tenth in the Liga Endesa. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Shurna averages 9.3ppg and 3.5rpg in 32 games. He is a naturalized Lithuanian.

#4. Michael Thompson (5'10''-PG-89, graduated '11, plays pro in France) was not able to help Le Mans Sarthe Basket in their game against JDA Dijon (22-11) in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. He scored only 4 points. Le Mans Sarthe Basket was defeated 78-70 in Dijon by the higher-ranked JDA Dijon (#4). It was Le Mans Sarthe Basket's first loss after five consecutive victories. Thompson's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Thompson has relatively good stats this season 13.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 4.7apg.

#5. Joey van Zegeren (6'10''-F-90, graduated '16, plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Liberbank Oviedo (22-12) in their game against Ourense (20-14) in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). van Zegeren did not have that impressive stats last Thursday. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 18 minutes. Liberbank Oviedo was edged 77-75 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked (#7) Ourense. This year van Zegeren averages 6.8ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.2bpg in 32 games.
