Best performed former Temple University players in pro basketball in last week games

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Owls players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Mardy Collins (6'5''-F-84, graduated '06, plays pro in France) led SIG Strasbourg to a victory against the 12th-ranked Le Portel (13-20) 87-73 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA last Sunday. He scored 12 points and added 6 assists in 26 minutes. SIG Strasbourg (19-14) is placed sixth in the Jeep ELITE ProA. Collins' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Collins averages 9.1ppg, 3.2rpg and 3.8apg in 27 games he played so far.

   #2. T.J. DiLeo (6'3''-G-90, graduated '13, plays in Germany) could not help Telekom Baskets Bonn (18-16) in their last game on Friday. Despite DiLeo's good performance Telekom Baskets Bonn was defeated 80-75 on the road by the lower-ranked s Oliver Baskets (#9). He scored 11 points and added 6 assists. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season DiLeo averages 8.4ppg, 2.0rpg, 4.8apg and 1.1spg. He is a naturalized German.

   #3. Antywane Robinson (6'8''-F-84, graduated '06, currently in France) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Provence Basket (9-24) 99-83 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Sunday night's game. He scored 14 points in 21 minutes. Cholet Basket (32-1) is placed first in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It was his team's 31st consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This year Robinson averages 8.4ppg and 2.8rpg in 28 games.

   #4. Ayan Carvalho (6'5''-G/F-97, graduated '18, plays pro in Argentina) was not able to help Deportivo Viedma (15-11) in their last game on Friday. Despite Carvalho's very good performance the fourth-placed Deportivo Viedma (15-11) was edged 75-73 in Plottier by the second-ranked Centro Espanol in the South group. He was the top scorer with 20 points. Carvalho also added 6 rebounds. It's Carvalho's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.5ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.1spg. Carvalho has also Argentinian citizenship.

   #5. Juan Fernandez (6'4''-G-90, graduated '12, plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Alma TR (16-14) in their game against Armani Milano (23-7) in the Italian Serie A. He scored 5 points in 11 minutes. Alma TR lost 88-93 in Milano to the leading Armani. It was Alma TR's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Fernandez averages 9.3ppg, 1.5rpg and 2.5apg in 30 games. He has also Italian nationality.

   #6. Micheal Eric (6'11''-C-88, graduated '12, currently in Turkey) managed to help Darussafaka Istanbul to win against the 12th-ranked Buyukcekmece crushing them 100-51 in the Turkish BSL in Saturday night's game. Eric scored only 4 points. Eric has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.1apg.

   #7. Ryan Brooks (6'4''-G-88, graduated '10, plays pro in France) couldn't help Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (9-23) in their last game. Despite his good performance Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket lost 84-93 in Evreux to the higher-ranked (#13) ALM Evreux. Brooks scored 14 points and added 3 passes in 34 minutes. Brooks has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.1spg in 14 games.

   #8. Sergio Olmos (7'0''-C-86, graduated '09, plays in Spain) couldn't help Coviran Granada in their game against Palma in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). Despite his very good performance last Friday Olmos was the second best scorer with 15 points. This season Olmos averages 9.4ppg and 3.3rpg.
