Best performed former Wake Forest University players in pro basketball in last week games

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Demon Deacons players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Chris Paul (6'0''-PG-85, graduated '05, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Houston Rockets (53-29) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Houston Rockets (53-29) lost 113-118 on the road to the Golden State Warriors. Paul had a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 6 assists in 38 minutes. It was Rockets' first loss after six consecutive victories. Paul has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.8ppg, 4.9rpg, 7.7apg and 2.0spg in 69 games he played so far.

   #2. C.J. Harris (6'3''-SG-91, graduated '13, plays in France) was the major contributor in a Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez's victory against the 16th-ranked Limoges CSP Elite (9-23) 84-69 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA on Sunday night. Harris scored 20 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists. Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez (20-13) is placed fifth in the Jeep ELITE ProA. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Harris has very high stats. He averages 16.9ppg, 2.6rpg and 3.3apg.

   #3. Codi Miller-McIntyre (6'3''-G-94, graduated '16, currently in Russia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Lokomotiv (17-9) 94-78 in the VTB United League in Thursday night's game. He scored 10 points and added 4 assists in 22 minutes. Zenit Sankt Petersburg (15-11) is placed fifth in the VTB United League. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. This year Miller-McIntyre averages 8.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 5.5apg in 23 games.

   #4. Bryant Crawford (6'3''-G-97, graduated '18, plays pro in Israel) led Hapoel Galil Gilboa to a victory against the fourth-ranked Hapoel Eilat (22-10) 91-82 in the Israeli Winner League last Sunday. Crawford recorded 18 points, 9 assists and 4 steals; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Hapoel Galil Gilboa (11-21) is placed tenth in the Winner League. Crawford's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This season Crawford has very high stats. He averages 15.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.9apg and 2.2spg.

   #5. Jamaal Levy (6'9''-F/C-83, graduated '05, plays in Argentina) was not able to help Bahia Basket (15-23) in their last game. Despite his good performance Bahia Basket was crushed 90-66 in Cordoba by the second-ranked Instituto. Levy had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 4 assists in 32 minutes. This year Levy averages 8.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg in 37 games.

   #6. Al-Farouq Aminu (6'9''-F-90, graduated '10, currently in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Portland Trail Blazers in their game against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. He scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. His team were edged 114-111 in the NBA. Aminu has relatively good stats this season 9.2ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.3apg. He is a naturalized Nigerian.

   #7. Coron Williams (6'1''-PG-89, graduated '14, plays pro in Argentina) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked San Martin Corrientes 97-80 in the Argentinian La Liga last Sunday. He scored 13 points in 24 minutes. This year Williams averages 9.6ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.9apg in 37 games.

   #8. Nikita Meshcharakou (6'7''-F-88, graduated '12, plays in Belarus) contributed to an easy victory against the leader COR-Borisfen crushing them 89-69 in the Belarusian Premier League on Sunday night. Meshcharakou scored 8 points and added 4 passes. This season Meshcharakou averages 8.2ppg, 4.2rpg and 2.2apg.
