Every week we bring you a list of the top former Longhorns players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. J'Covan Brown (6'2''-PG-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Israel) was the major contributor in a Hapoel Jerusalem's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Holon (24-8) 108-99 in the Israeli Winner League on Friday night. He recorded 19 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in 23 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hapoel Jerusalem (24-8) is placed second in the Winner League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Brown's first season with the team. Brown has relatively good stats this year 10.6ppg, 2.5rpg and 4.6apg.

   #2. Dogus Balbay (6'1''-PG-89, graduated '11, plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Afyon Bld (6-22) crushing them 105-74 in the Turkish BSL in Saturday night's game. Balbay scored 7 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (25-3) is placed first in the BSL. It was his team's 17th consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Balbay's eighth season with the team. This year he averages 4.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.4apg in 25 games he played so far.

   #3. Experienced P.J. Tucker (6'6''-F-85, graduated '06, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the Houston Rockets (53-29) in their game last Friday. Despite Tucker's very good performance the Houston Rockets (53-29) were defeated 118-113 on the road by the Golden State Warriors. He scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 45 minutes. Tucker has relatively good stats this season 7.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.6spg.

   #4. Alexis Wangmene (6'9''-C-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Belgium) was not able to help betFIRST Liege Basket (14-8) in their last game. Despite his very good performance betFIRST Liege Basket lost 80-93 on the opponent's court to the second-ranked Oostende. Wangmene was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 9 rebounds. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Wangmene has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.1bpg in 20 games.

   #5. Jordan Hamilton (6'7''-F-90, graduated '11, plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Germani BR (14-16) in their game against Umana Venezia (20-10) in the Italian Serie A. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. Germani BR was badly defeated 86-70 in Venezia by the much higher-ranked Umana (#3). The Regular Season already ended. Hamilton has relatively good stats this season 13.6ppg, 6.7rpg and 2.5apg.

   #6. Myck Kabongo (6'3''-G, graduated '13, currently in Canada), who plays in the CEBL couldn't help the Guelph Nighthawks (1-1) in their last game. Despite Kabongo's very good performance the Guelph Nighthawks were badly defeated 130-110 in Saskatoon by the Saskatchewan Rattlers. He had a double-double by scoring 28 points and making 10 passes. It was his first game for Guelph Nighthawks this season. Kabongo has also Canadian citizenship.
