Every week we bring you a list of the top former Lions players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Sherman Gay (6'7''-F/C-82, graduated '04, plays pro in Germany) led HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim to a victory against the second-ranked EWE Baskets (28-6) 99-87 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game. He recorded 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and made 2 blocks in 23 minutes. HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim (9-25) is placed 16th in the BBL. The Regular Season already ended. This year Gay averages 8.5ppg and 3.0rpg in 28 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Jamaican.

   #2. Ashley Hamilton (6'7''-F-88, graduated '13, plays in United Kingdom) led London CR to a 2-point victory over the closely-ranked Sheffield Sharks (17-16) 63-61 in the British BBL last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Hamilton recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added and 3 steals. London City Royals (18-15) is placed fifth in the BBL. Hamilton has relatively good stats this season 14.0ppg, 7.2rpg and 1.5apg.

   #3. Brandon Brown (5'11''-PG-91, graduated '17, currently in Switzerland), who plays in the Swiss SBL could not help Neuchatel (2-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the third-placed Neuchatel (2-3) was edged 92-89 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Lakers in the Places 1-6 group. Brown was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added made 7 passes and 3 steals in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Brown's second season in pro basketball. Brown has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.1apg and 1.3spg in 15 games.

   #4. David Humphries (6'4''-G/F-91, graduated '16, plays pro in Australia) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Redbacks (6-7) 123-107 in the Australian State League (second division) in Sunday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 14 rebounds. Humphries also added 8 assists; not bad, considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Goldfields Giants (8-4) are placed fourth in SBL group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Humphries has very high stats. He averages 17.7ppg, 9.0rpg, 4.0apg and 3.3spg.

   #5. Simon Krajcovic (6'3''-PG-94, graduated '15, plays in Slovakia) was not able to help Levice (22-10) in their last game. Despite Krajcovic's good performance Levice lost 64-68 on the opponent's court to the lower-ranked (#3) Prievidza. He scored 10 points and added 4 passes in 28 minutes. This year Krajcovic averages 9.1ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.8apg and 1.1spg in 39 games.

   #6. Marin Mornar (6'9''-PF-93, graduated '16, currently in Austria) was not able to secure a victory for BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels in their game against Dukes in the Austrian A Bundesliga. He scored only 4 points. His team were defeated 87-73. This season Mornar averages 7.0ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.3bpg.
