Best performed former University of Richmond players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Spiders alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Justin Harper (6'10''-F-89, graduated '11, plays pro in Puerto Rico) led Indios de Mayaguez to a victory over the closely-ranked Brujos (12-14) 70-65 in the Puerto Rican BSN last Monday. He was MVP of the game. Harper had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 36 minutes. Indios de Mayaguez (8-17) is located at the very bottom in the BSN. Harper has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.6ppg, 7.3rpg and 2.0apg in seven games he played so far.

   #2. David Gonzalvez (6'4''-G-87, graduated '10, plays in Finland) was the main contributor in Kouvot's victory against the league leader Vilpas (36-11) 88-71 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Wednesday night. He was MVP of the game. Gonzalvez recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and making 10 passes. He also added 6 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Kouvot Kouvola (17-10) is placed third in the Korisliiga. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Semifinals already ended. It's Gonzalvez's first season with the team. This year Gonzalvez has very high stats. He averages 15.2ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.7apg.

   #3. Kendall Anthony (5'8''-PG-93, graduated '15, currently in France) contributed to a BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral's victory against one of league's weakest teams Levallois (9-23) 97-85 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Tuesday night's game. He scored 9 points and added 6 passes in 23 minutes. BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (20-11) is placed fifth in the Jeep ELITE ProA. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Anthony has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 2.1rpg and 4.2apg in 17 games.

   #4. Terry Allen (6'8''-F-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Israel) helped Ironi Nahariya edge the closely-ranked Maccabi Ashdod (12-19) 89-88 in the Israeli Winner League last Saturday. Allen recorded 7 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. Ironi Nahariya (9-21) is placed second from the bottom (#11) in the Winner League. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Allen has relatively good stats this season 12.2ppg, 5.4rpg and 2.2apg.
