Here is the weekly review of the top performing Redbirds alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Paris Lee (6'0''-PG-95, graduated '17, plays pro in Belgium) led Telenet Giants Antwerp to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Limburg United (14-20) crushing them 85-65 in the Belgian Euromillions League last Sunday. He recorded 12 points and added 5 passes in 22 minutes. Telenet Giants Antwerp (26-6) is placed second in the Euromillions League. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Lee has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg, 2.1rpg, 5.6apg and 1.7spg in 32 games he played so far.

#2. Daishon Knight (6'1''-G-91, graduated '15, plays in New Zealand) could not help Manawatu Jets (1-4) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Knight's very good performance Manawatu Jets were edged 106-104 on the road by the leading Saints. He was the top scorer with 34 points. Knight also added 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Knight has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 25.0ppg, 4.7rpg and 4.0apg.

#3. Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (6'5''-SG-93, graduated '16, currently in France), who plays in the French Jeep ELITE ProA was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Le Portel (13-20) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Le Portel lost 73-87 in Strasbourg to the higher-ranked (#11) SIG Strasbourg. Akoon-Purcell was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 21 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Akoon-Purcell's third season in pro basketball. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This year Akoon-Purcell averages 9.4ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.2apg in 10 games. He is a naturalized Trinidad and Tobago.

#4. Experienced Dinma Odiakosa (6'8''-C/F-85, graduated '10, plays pro in France) led Sluc Nancy Basket Pro to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Quimper UJAP (12-20) crushing them 110-72 in the French ProB (second division) last Tuesday. He recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Sluc Nancy Basket Pro (21-11) is placed fifth in the ProB. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This season Odiakosa averages 7.0ppg and 6.1rpg.

#5. Jackie Carmichael (6'9''-F-90, graduated '13, plays in Turkey) led Konyaspor to a 3-point victory against the closely-ranked Duzce Belediye (19-11) 83-80 in the Turkish TBL (second division) on Saturday night. He recorded 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 29 minutes. Konyaspor (17-13) is placed seventh in the TBL.
