Best performed former University of Dayton players in pro basketball in last week games

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Flyers players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Robert Lowery (6'2''-PG-87, graduated '10, plays pro in Poland) led Polski Cukier Torun to a victory over the seventh-ranked Wilki Morskie (15-15) 91-85 in the Polish EBL last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Lowery scored 27 points (!!!) and added 9 passes in 24 minutes. Polski Cukier Torun (24-6) is placed second in the EBL. It's Lowery's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 3.6rpg, 6.8apg and 1.2spg in 32 games he played so far.

   #2. Dyshawn Pierre (6'6''-F-93, graduated '16, plays in Italy) was the main contributor in a Banco di Srd's victory against the closely-ranked Alma TR (16-13) crushing them 86-65 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Pierre scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Banco di Sardegna Sassari (17-12) is placed fifth in the Serie A. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Pierre averages 9.4ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.6apg.

   #3. Chris Johnson (6'6''-SF-90, graduated '12, currently in Israel) contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Galil Gilboa (10-20) 104-87 in the Israeli Winner League in Monday night's game. He scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in a mere 15 minutes. Hapoel Jerusalem (21-8) is placed third in the Winner League. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Johnson's first season with the team. Johnson has relatively good stats this year 11.9ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg in 11 games.

   #4. Experienced Brian Roberts (6'2''-PG-85, graduated '08, plays pro in Spain) contributed to an Unicaja Malaga's victory against the 14th-ranked Movil Estudiantes (10-19) 80-72 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Saturday. Roberts scored 9 points. Unicaja Malaga (17-12) is placed fifth in the Liga Endesa. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Roberts' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.3apg.

   #5. Matej Svoboda (6'7''-F-96, graduated '18, plays in Czech Republic) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked BK Usti nad Labem (17-19) crushing them 109-71 in the Czech Republic NBL on Monday night. He was MVP of the game. Svoboda scored 18 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 23 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Dekstone Turi Svitavy (22-14) is placed second in Places 1-8 group. It was his team's first victory after five consecutive loses. This year Svoboda averages 9.7ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.7apg in 39 games.

   #6. Kyle Davis (6'0''-PG-95, graduated '17, currently in Argentina), who plays in the Argentinian La Liga could not help Comunicaciones (20-15) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Comunicaciones was defeated 91-79 on the road by the lower-ranked Gimnasia (#7). Davis was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 4 rebounds. This season Davis averages 9.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.7apg and 1.4spg.

   #7. Devin Oliver (6'9''-PF-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Germany) was not able to help s.Oliver Wuerzburg in their game against ALBA Berlin in the German BBL. Oliver scored 9 points in 19 minutes. His team was crushed by 39 points 108-69. Oliver has relatively good stats this year 11.3ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.0apg in 13 games.

   #8. Vincent Sanford (6'4''-G-90, graduated '14, plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for ES Chalon-Sur-Saone (18-13) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Sanford's good performance ES Chalon-Sur-Saone was defeated 80-72 in Dijon by the higher-ranked JDA Dijon (#3). He recorded 12 points. Sanford has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.4ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.8apg and 1.3spg.

   #9. Adonte Parker (6'1''-PG-89, graduated '12, currently in Lithuania) contributed to Nevezis' victory against the fifth-ranked P.Zvaigzdes 90-86 in the Lithuanian LKL in Sunday night's game. Parker scored 6 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 19 minutes. Parker has relatively good stats this year 10.6ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.0apg in 24 games. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
