Every week we bring you a list of the top former Huskies players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Robert Upshaw (7'0''-C-94, graduated '15, plays pro in Poland) was the major contributor in an Asseco Arka Gdynia's victory against the eighth-ranked Legia (15-15) crushing them 109-87 in the Polish EBL in Saturday night's game. He scored 20 points in a mere 16 minutes. Asseco Arka Gdynia (25-5) is placed first in the EBL. It's Upshaw's first season with the team. This year Upshaw averages 9.3ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.4bpg in 27 games he played so far.

   #2. Experienced Justin Dentmon (6'0''-PG-85, graduated '09, plays in Lebanon) could not help one of league's weakest teams Beirut Club (12-4) in their last game on Monday. Despite Dentmon's very good performance Beirut Club was badly defeated 95-75 in a derby game by the higher-ranked Al Riyadi (#3). He was the top scorer with 22 points. Dentmon has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.4ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.9apg and 1.1spg.

   #3. Tony Wroten (6'6''-G-93, graduated '12, currently in Estonia) led Kalev/Cramo to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Parnu (3-8) crushing them 102-62 in the Estonian KML on Monday night. He scored 16 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 21 minutes. BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinnis placed first in the KML. It's Wroten's first season with the team. Wroten has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 4.7rpg, 8.3apg and 1.3spg in three games.

   #4. Matthew Bryan-Amaning (6'9''-F-88, graduated '11, plays pro in United Kingdom) led London CR to a victory over the closely-ranked Glasgow Rocks (18-15) 75-60 in the British BBL in Friday night's game. Bryan-Amaning was MVP of the game. He recorded 24 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. London City Royals (18-15) is placed fifth in the BBL. This season Bryan-Amaning has very high stats. He averages 17.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.6apg, 1.1bpg and 1.2spg. Bryan-Amaning has also British passport.

   #5. Malik Dime (6'9''-F/C-92, graduated '17, plays in Bulgaria) contributed to Rilski's victory against the closely-ranked Academik Plovdiv (13-11) 83-77 in the Bulgarian NBL last Monday. He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 11 rebounds in 24 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Dime's second season in pro basketball. Rilski Sportist Samokov (13-11) is placed fifth in the NBL. It's Dime's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 14.4ppg, 8.9rpg and 2.4bpg in 17 games. Dime is a naturalized Senegalese.

   #6. Desmond Simmons (6'6''-F-92, played in 2010-14, currently in Portugal), who plays in the Portuguese LPB was not able to help Lusitania (16-16) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Simmons' good performance the fourth-placed Lusitania was crushed 113-76 on the road by the lower-ranked Benfica (#7) in the Places 1-6 group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds. Simmons has relatively good stats this season 13.3ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg.

   #7. Robert Jones (6'7''-F-84, graduated '06, plays pro in Italy) was the main contributor in a Zeus EG Rieti's victory against the sixth-ranked Unieuro Forli 66-61 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) in Tuesday night's game. Jones was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 14 rebounds in 30 minutes. Jones has very impressive stats this year 16.1ppg, 7.3rpg and 2.0apg in 31 games. He is a naturalized Guinean.

   #8. Mike Anderson (6'4''-G-91, graduated '15, plays in Australia) contributed to a Keilor Thunder's victory against the third-ranked Devils 93-86 in the Australian State League (second division) last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Anderson recorded a triple-double by scoring 32 points, grabbing 14 rebounds and passing 10 assists. This season he has very high stats. Anderson averages 24.8ppg, 12.1rpg, 5.4apg and 1.6spg.
