Every week we bring you a list of the top former Aztecs players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Kawhi Leonard (6'7''-F-91, graduated '11, plays pro in the NBA) led Toronto Raptors to a victory over the Orlando Magic (42-40) crushing them 107-85 in the NBA last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Leonard recorded 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in 35 minutes. The Toronto Raptors have a solid 58-24 record this season. It's Leonard's first year with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Leonard averages 26.7ppg, 7.2rpg, 3.3apg and 1.7spg in 65 games he played so far.

#2. Malcolm Thomas (6'9''-C-88, graduated '11, plays in Russia) could not help Khimki (19-6) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance Khimki was defeated 94-86 at home by the lower-ranked Enisey (#9). Thomas was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 5 rebounds, 4 assists and made 3 blocks. Thomas' team will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Thomas averages 8.2ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.8apg.

#3. J.J. O'Brien (6'7''-F-92, graduated '15, currently in Kazakhstan) was the main contributor in Astana's victory against the ninth-ranked Enisey (10-15) 93-85 in the VTB United League in Sunday night's game. O'Brien was MVP of the game. He recorded 20 points in 32 minutes. BK Astana (15-10) is placed fifth in the VTB United League. O'Brien's team will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. O'Brien has very impressive stats this year 15.8ppg, 5.3rpg, 4.0apg and 1.1spg in 25 games.

#4. Xavier Thames (6'3''-G-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Hungary) was not able to help Kormend in their game against Szolnok (22-8) in the Hungarian A Division. Despite his very good performance on Wednesday night Thames was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 5 assists. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be important. Thames has relatively good stats this season 13.2ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.4apg and 1.5spg.

#5. Deshawn Stephens (6'8''-F-89, graduated '13, plays in Israel) was not able to secure a victory for Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv (12-16) in their game against Ironi Nes-Ziona (13-15) in the Israeli Winner League, despite his very good performance in Monday night's game. Stephens recorded 14 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in 33 minutes. It was his first game for Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv this season. But Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv was edged 100-98 on the road by the higher-ranked (#6) Ironi Nes-Ziona.

#6. Experienced Mohamed Abukar (6'10''-F-85, graduated '07, currently in Cyprus) was the major contributor in Keravnos' victory against the league leader AEK Larnaca 89-81 in the Cypriot Division A in Tuesday night's game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Abukar has relatively good stats this season 11.9ppg, 2.6rpg and 1.9apg. He is a naturalized Somalian.

#7. Skylar Spencer (6'9''-F/C-94, graduated '16, plays pro in Romania) couldn't help CSM Steaua Bucuresti in their game against Cluj Napoca in the Romanian Liga Nationala, despite his good performance in Wednesday night's game. He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Spencer also added 7 rebounds in 30 minutes. But his team lost 64-72. Spencer has relatively good stats this year 11.1ppg, 8.4rpg, 2.3bpg and 1.4spg in 23 games.

#8. Mehdi Cheriet (6'9''-PF-87, graduated '11, plays in France) managed to help SO Maritime Boulogne to win against the fifth-ranked Vendee Challans crushing them 85-60 in the French NM1 (third division) on Tuesday night.
