Best performed former University of Alabama at Birmingham players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Blazers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Jordan Swing (6'6''-F-90, graduated '14, plays pro in Israel) could not help Beer Sheva (14-14) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Beer Sheva lost 78-89 on the road to the second-ranked Hapoel Holon. Swing had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 36 minutes. It's Swing's first season with the team. Swing has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.2ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.9apg and 1.1spg in 28 games he played so far.

   #2. Chad Frazier (6'4''-G-92, graduated '14, plays in Turkey) led Sigortam.net ITU to a victory over the closely-ranked Konyaspor (15-13) 88-76 in the Turkish TBL (second division) on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Frazier recorded 24 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Sigortam.net ITU Basket Istanbul (17-11) is placed sixth in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Frazier's first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Frazier averages 15.1ppg, 3.8rpg and 2.4apg.

   #3. Experienced Wen Boss Mukubu (6'6''-F-83, graduated '07, currently in Belgium) was the major contributor in a Hubo Limburg United's victory against the closely-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (15-13) 85-78 in the Belgian Euromillions League in Saturday night's game. Mukubu recorded 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 24 minutes. Hubo Limburg United (12-16) is placed sixth in the Euromillions League. This year Mukubu averages 6.5ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.4apg in 20 games. He has also Belgian passport.

   #4. Walter Sharpe (6'9''-F/C-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Taiwan) was the main contributor in a 3-point Yulon Luxgen's victory against the league leader Fubon Braves (26-13) 99-96 in the Taiwanese SBL last Sunday. Sharpe was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 17 rebounds. Sharpe also added 6 assists and 2 blocks. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Yulon Luxgen (19-20) is placed fourth in the SBL. His team will play only one more game in the Semifinals. And now that game is very crucial. This season Sharpe has very high stats. He averages 19.5ppg, 14.4rpg, 3.6apg, 2.1bpg and 2.0spg.

   #5. Dirk Williams (6'5''-G-94, graduated '17, plays in United Kingdom) was not able to help DBL Sharks Sheffield (12-10) in their last game. Despite his very good performance DBL Sharks Sheffield lost 88-93 in London to the lower-ranked (#5) London CR. Williams scored 15 points, had 5 rebounds and made 3 blocks (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) in 41 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Williams has very impressive stats this year 18.5ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.7apg and 1.3spg in 31 games.

   #6. Elijah Millsap (6'6''-G-87, graduated '10, currently in Uruguay) was not able to secure a victory for Malvin in their game against Urunday Universitario in the Uruguayan LUB. He scored 6 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists. His team was defeated 79-73. This season Millsap averages 5.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 4.0apg.

   #7. Jamarr Sanders (6'4''-G-88, graduated '11, plays pro in Italy) managed to help Alma-Agenzia Per Il Lavoro Trieste in a victory against the second-ranked Umana Venezia 104-85 in the Italian Serie A last Saturday. Sanders scored only 2 points in 27 minutes. Sanders has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.7apg in 25 games.

   #8. Paul Delaney (6'2''-PG-86, graduated '09, plays in Israel) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Maccabi Hod Hasharon in their game against H.Haifa in the Israeli National League (second division). Delaney recorded 6 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. His team was defeated 87-81. This season Delaney has very high stats. He averages 19.5ppg, 5.3rpg, 4.9apg and 2.2spg.

   #9. Tosin Mehinti (6'9''-F-94, graduated '17, currently in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the leader Navarra crushing them 101-72 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) in Saturday night's game. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in just 10 minutes. This year Mehinti averages 7.7ppg and 6.5rpg in 24 games.

   #10. Terrence Roderick (6'5''-SF-88, graduated '09, plays pro in Italy) contributed to a Bergamo Bsk's victory against the 13th-ranked Bertram TRT 85-76 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Roderick recorded a triple-double by scoring 24 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and passing 11 assists. This season Roderick has very high stats. He averages 20.4ppg, 10.8rpg, 5.9apg and 1.6spg.
