Every week we bring you a list of the top former Cougars players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Brandon Davies (6'10''-C-91, graduated '13, plays pro in Lithuania) led his Lithuanian team Zalgiris to a victory against the league leader Fenerbahce (25-5) 82-80 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. He scored 13 points in a mere 18 minutes. B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (15-15) is placed ninth in the Euroleague. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Davies has relatively good stats this year 13.9ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.9apg in 33 games he played so far.

   #2. Elijah Bryant (6'5''-G-95, graduated '18, plays in Israel) was the major contributor in a 3-point Hapoel Eilat's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (19-8) 81-78 in the Israeli Winner League last Thursday. Bryant recorded 14 points and had 4 steals; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hapoel Eilat (19-9) is placed fourth in the Winner League. It's Bryant's first year with the team. Bryant has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.1ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg.

   #3. Agustin Ambrosino (6'8''-C/F-90, graduated '13, currently in Argentina) contributed to an easy victory against the 15th-ranked Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos (11-19) crushing them 104-84 in the Argentinian La Liga on Wednesday night. Ambrosino scored 6 points in 18 minutes. Estudiantes Concordia (17-14) is placed seventh in the La Liga. This year Ambrosino averages 4.8ppg and 2.5rpg in 23 games. He has also Argentinian nationality. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

   #4. Charles Abouo (6'5''-G/F-89, graduated '12, plays pro in France) contributed to an ADA Blois Basket 41's victory against the 16th-ranked Aix-Maurienne (8-20) 67-61 in the French ProB (second division) in Friday night's game. Abouo scored 9 points. ADA Blois Basket 41 (14-13) is placed ninth in the ProB. Abouo has relatively good stats this season 10.9ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg. He is a naturalized Ivorian.

   #5. Eric Mika (6'10''-F-95, graduated '17, plays in Germany) managed to help medi Bayreuth in a victory against the seventh-ranked Telekom Baskets (15-13) 84-78 in the German BBL last Sunday. He scored only 3 points in 6 minutes on the court. medi Bayreuth (13-15) is placed 11th in the BBL. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. Mika has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg and 4.8rpg in 11 games.

   #6. Tyler Haws (6'4''-G-91, graduated '15, currently in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Araberri crushing them 105-68 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Sunday night. Haws scored 7 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Haws has relatively good stats this season 13.0ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.8apg. He is a naturalized Belgian.

   #7. Jonathan Tavernari (6'6''-SF-87, graduated '10, plays pro in Italy) contributed to a Givova Scafati's victory against the 15th-ranked Virtus Cassino 93-83 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 29 minutes. This year Tavernari averages 8.4ppg and 3.2rpg in 20 games. He has also Italian passport.
