EuroBasket Pro Colonials Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Colonials players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Jeremy Chappell (6'3''-G/F-87, graduated '09, plays pro in Italy) could not help one of league's weakest teams Happy Casa BR (16-11) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Happy Casa BR lost 86-93 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Vanoli Cremona. Chappell was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 26 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Chappell has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.7apg and 1.9spg in 27 games he played so far.

   #2. Karvel Anderson (6'2''-G-91, graduated '14, plays in France) was not able to help BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (18-11) in their last game on Friday. Despite Anderson's very good performance BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral was defeated 76-69 in Le Mans by the much lower-ranked Le Mans (#14). He was the top scorer with 19 points. It's Anderson's first season with the team. Anderson has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg, 3.1rpg and 2.9apg.

   #3. Lucky Jones (6'6''-G-93, graduated '15, currently in Greece), who plays in the Greek A1 was not able to secure a victory for Aris (8-17) in their last game. Despite Jones' good performance Aris lost 64-73 in Keratsiniou to the higher-ranked (#7) Ifestos. He was the top scorer with 13 points. Jones also added 5 rebounds and 6 assists in 28 minutes. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Jones has relatively good stats this year 11.3ppg, 3.6rpg and 2.1apg in 25 games.

   #4. Coron Williams (6'1''-PG-89, played in 2009-13, plays pro in Argentina) couldn't help La Union (6-20) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Williams' good performance La Union was defeated 66-55 at home by the second-ranked Ferro. He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Williams also added 4 rebounds (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line). It's Williams' first season with the team. This year he averages 10.0ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.0apg.

Josiah Whitehead (6'6''-F/C-86) played for Ciclista in Argentinian La Liga Argentina few monts ago
Maurice Carter (6'0''-PG-83) plays for Toulouse in French NM1
Robert Robinson (6'8''-C-87) played for DC On Point in the The Basketball Tournament last year
Russell Johnson (6'6''-F-88) played for Chester City Faithfuls in the The Basketball Tournament last year
