We bring you last week's top former Longhorns players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Kevin Durant (6'9''-SF-88, graduated '07, plays pro in the NBA) led Golden State Warriors to a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers (48-34) crushing them 132-105 in the NBA on Thursday night. He was MVP of the game. Durant scored 38 points (!!!), had 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 30 minutes. The Golden State Warriors have a solid 57-25 record this season. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Durant has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 26.1ppg, 6.3rpg, 5.8apg and 1.1bpg.

   #2. Experienced LaMarcus Aldridge (6'11''-F/C-85, graduated '06, plays in the NBA) could not help the San Antonio Spurs (48-34) in their last game. Despite Aldridge's very good performance the San Antonio Spurs (48-34) lost 103-117 on the road to the Denver Nuggets. He was the top scorer with 24 points. Aldridge also added 9 rebounds. It's Aldridge's fourth season with the team. He has very impressive stats this year 21.3ppg, 9.2rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3bpg in 85 games he played so far.

   #3. Jarrett Allen (6'11''-F-98, graduated '17, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to help the Brooklyn Nets (42-40) in their game last Saturday. Despite Allen's very good performance the Brooklyn Nets (42-40) were defeated 112-108 in Philadelphia by the 76ers. He was the second best scorer with 21 points. Allen also added 8 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) in 32 minutes. Allen has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.4apg and 1.5bpg.

   #4. Ioannis Papapetrou (6'8''-F-94, graduated '14, plays pro in Greece) was not able to secure a victory for Panathinaikos (16-14) in their game against Real Madrid (22-8) in the Euroleague. He recorded 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Panathinaikos was edged 75-72 in Madrid by the higher-ranked (#3) Real. It's Papapetrou's first season with the team. This year Papapetrou averages 9.0ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.1apg in 27 games.

   #5. Clint Chapman (6'10''-F/C-89, graduated '12, plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Science City Jena (5-24) crushing them 104-66 in the German BBL in Saturday night's game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes. Rasta Vechta (21-8) is placed fourth in the BBL. Chapman has relatively good stats this season 15.0ppg and 2.6rpg.

   #6. P.J. Tucker (6'6''-F-85, graduated '06, currently in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Utah Jazz crushing them 118-98 in the NBA last Wednesday. Tucker scored 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Tucker has relatively good stats this year 7.6ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.2apg and 1.6spg in 86 games.

   #7. Myles Turner (6'11''-C/F-96, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA) couldn't help the Indiana Pacers (48-34) in their game last Friday. Despite his good performance the Indiana Pacers were defeated 104-96 in Boston by the Celtics. Turner scored 13 points, had 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 29 minutes. This season Turner has very high stats. He averages 13.1ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.6apg and 2.6bpg.

   #8. Jordan Hamilton (6'7''-F-90, graduated '11, plays in Italy) managed to help Germani Brescia Leonessa in a victory against the league leader Armani Milano 92-86 in the Italian Serie A in Saturday night's game. Hamilton scored 5 points, had 12 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Hamilton has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.6apg in 26 games.

   #9. D.J. Augustin (6'0''-PG-87, graduated '08, currently in the NBA) couldn't help the Orlando Magic in their game against the Toronto Raptors in the NBA. Augustin scored 9 points and added 4 passes (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in 23 minutes. His team was crushed by 29 points 111-82 in the NBA. This season Augustin has very high stats. He averages 11.7ppg, 2.5rpg and 5.2apg.

   #10. Cory Joseph (6'3''-PG-91, graduated '11, plays pro in the NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Myles Turner and both played together in the last NBA game. Joseph couldn't help the Indiana Pacers in their game against the Boston Celtics. He scored 5 points. His team lost 96-104 in the NBA. This year Joseph averages 6.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.8apg and 1.1spg in 86 games.
