We bring you last week's top former Raiders players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Mike Karena (6'10''-C-93, graduated '16, plays pro in New Zealand) led Canterbury Rams to a victory over the closely-ranked Rangers (1-2) crushing them 91-68 in the New Zealand NBL in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Karena scored 36 points (!!!) and grabbed 9 rebounds in 28 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Canterbury Rams (2-1) are placed fourth in the NBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Karena's first year with the team. Karena has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 19.0ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.3apg in three games he played so far.

#2. Joe Thomasson (6'4''-G-93, graduated '16, plays in Poland) could not help TBV Start Lublin (13-16) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Thomasson's good performance TBV Start Lublin was defeated 93-78 on the road by the lower-ranked Spojnia Stargard (#13). He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Thomasson also added 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Thomasson's first season with the team. This year Thomasson has very high stats. He averages 19.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 5.2apg and 1.8spg.

#3. Steven Davis (6'8''-F-93, graduated '17, currently in Slovakia) was the major contributor in Levice's victory against the seventh-ranked Handlova (13-19) 82-65 in the Slovakian SBL on Thursday night. He scored 20 points in 40 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Davis' second season in pro basketball. BK Levicki Patrioti (22-10) is placed second in the SBL. Davis has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.4apg in 37 games.

#4. DeShon Minnis (6'3''-G-92, graduated '16, plays pro in Kosovo) was not able to help Rahoveci (18-10) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Minnis' very good performance Rahoveci was edged 71-70 at home by the lower-ranked Prizreni (#5). He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 16 rebounds. Minnis also added 3 assists and 5 steals. This season Minnis has very high stats. He averages 17.3ppg, 7.1rpg, 6.8apg and 2.0spg.

#5. Justin Mitchell (6'5''-G-95, graduated '18, plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Starwings (1-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance the fourth-placed Starwings (1-3) lost 80-95 on their home court in Basel to the higher-ranked (#3) Boncourt in the Places 7-11 group. Mitchell had a triple-double by scoring 12 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and passing 10 assists in 28 minutes. The Second Stage already ended. It's Mitchell's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 6.4rpg, 5.0apg and 2.3spg in 22 games.

#6. Jerran Young (6'6''-G-91, graduated '14, currently in Singapore) contributed to a Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers' victory against the closely-ranked Hong Kong ELL 80-73 in the ASEAN League on Thursday night. He recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds. This season Young has very high stats. He averages 19.9ppg, 7.4rpg, 4.0apg and 2.4spg.

#7. Matt Vest (6'5''-G-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Germany) managed to help NINERS Chemnitz in a victory against the closely-ranked Hamburg 87-81 in the German ProA (second division) in Saturday night's game. He recorded 5 points and added 4 assists in 20 minutes. This year Vest averages 6.1ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.1spg in 22 games.
