We bring you last week's top former Friars players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. MarShon Brooks (6'5''-G/F-89, graduated '11, plays pro in China) was the major contributor in a Guangdong Southern Tigers' victory against the closely-ranked Leopards (34-12) 135-117 in the Chinese CBA in Monday night's game. He recorded 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his six free throws) in 35 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Guangdong Southern Tigers (42-4) are placed first in the CBA. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. Brooks has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 24.1ppg, 8.9rpg, 7.6apg and 1.5spg in 10 games he played so far.

#2. Ben Bentil (6'9''-F-95, graduated '16, plays in Greece) could not help Peristeri GS (16-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Peristeri GS was defeated 83-73 on the road by the much lower-ranked Cretan Kings (#12). Bentil recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 10 rebounds. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Bentil has relatively good stats this season 11.6ppg and 6.4rpg. He is a naturalized Ghanian.

#3. Vincent Council (6'2''-PG-90, graduated '13, currently in Slovakia) led Levice to a victory over the seventh-ranked Handlova (13-19) 82-65 in the Slovakian SBL on Thursday night. He was MVP of the game. Council scored 20 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 28 minutes. BK Levicki Patrioti (22-10) is placed second in the SBL. Council has relatively good stats this year 12.0ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.5apg and 1.2spg in 12 games.

#4. Experienced Jeffrey Xavier (6'3''-PG-85, graduated '09, plays pro in Spain) was the main contributor in a 2-point Leyma Basquet Coruna's victory against the closely-ranked Lleida Basquet (16-16) 90-88 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Thursday night's game. Xavier was MVP of the game. He scored 19 points, grabbed 9 boards, dished 4 assists and stole 4 balls (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). Leyma Basquet Coruna (12-20) is placed 13th in the LEB Gold. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Xavier's first season with the team. Xavier has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.9apg. He is a naturalized Cape Verdean.

#5. Tuukka Kotti (6'9''-PF-81, graduated '05, plays in Finland) was not able to help Helsinki Seagulls in their game against BC Nokia (17-23) in the Finnish Korisliiga, despite his very good performance on Tuesday night. He was the top scorer with 16 points. Kotti also added 9 rebounds in 24 minutes. But Helsinki Seagulls was crushed 87-63 in Nokia by the lower-ranked (#8) BC Nokia. It was Helsinki Seagulls' fourth consecutive loss in a row. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Kotti has relatively good stats this year 12.9ppg, 9.2rpg, 2.9apg and 1.2spg in 42 games.

#6. LaDontae Henton (6'6''-F-92, graduated '15, currently in Hungary) was not able to secure a victory for Atomeromu in their game against KTE-Duna in the Hungarian A Division. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. His team was edged 83-81. Henton has relatively good stats this season 14.9ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg.
