We bring you last week's top former Lopes players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Casey Benson (6'3''-PG-95, graduated '19, plays pro in Slovenia) could not help Hopsi Polzela (7-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the second-placed Hopsi Polzela (7-7) was crushed 93-72 on the road by the second-ranked P.Olimpija in the Places 1-6 group. Benson was the top scorer with 17 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 32 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Benson's first season in pro basketball. His team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical. This year Benson averages 7.2ppg, 4.5rpg and 5.7apg in 25 games he played so far.

#2. Dewayne Russell (5'11''-G-94, graduated '17, plays in Germany) was not able to help HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim (7-22) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Russell's very good performance HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim was badly defeated 99-79 in Muenchen by the leading Bayern. He was the second best scorer with 20 points. Russell also added 6 rebounds and dished 7 assists. Russell has relatively good stats this season 10.5ppg, 2.0rpg and 3.9apg.

#3. Royce Woolridge (6'3''-G-92, graduated '15, currently in Slovenia) led Sentjur to a victory over the fourth-ranked Ilirija (3-11) 90-77 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM in Wednesday night's game. Woolridge was MVP of the game. He scored 30 points (!!!), grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 32 minutes. KK Tajfun Sentjur (8-154) is placed third in Places 7-10 group. Woolridge's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is very crucial. It's Woolridge's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.1ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.5apg and 1.2spg in 13 games.

#4. Grandy Glaze (6'9''-F-92, graduated '16, plays pro in Australia) was not able to secure a victory for Eltham Wildcats (2-2) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the ninth-placed Eltham Wildcats (2-2) were crushed 103-72 in Geelong by the lower-ranked Supercats (#9) in the NBL1 group. Glaze recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 3 assists. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Glaze has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.7ppg, 9.7rpg and 3.0apg.

#5. Joshua Braun (6'4''-G/F-94, graduated '18, plays in Australia) was the main contributor in a Kalamunda Eastern Suns' victory against the eighth-ranked Eagles (4-4) 94-80 in the Australian State League (second division) on Thursday night. Braun was MVP of the game. He scored 30 points (!!!), made 8 passes and 3 steals (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) in 38 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Braun's first season in pro basketball. Kalamunda Eastern Suns (10-6) are placed in SBL group. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Braun has very impressive stats this year 28.0ppg, 7.2rpg, 3.4apg, 1.9bpg and 1.6spg in nine games.

#6. Keonta Vernon (6'6''-F/C-94, graduated '18, currently in France) contributed to Toulouse's victory against the ninth-ranked Feurs EF 87-78 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. Vernon scored 10 points. Vernon has relatively good stats this season 10.5ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.4spg.
