Every week we bring you a list of the top former Lions players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Experienced Sherman Gay (6'7''-F/C-82, graduated '04, plays pro in Germany) could not help HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim (7-22) in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim was badly defeated 99-79 on the road by the leading Bayern Muenchen. Gay was the top scorer with 24 points. He also added 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 24 minutes. This season Gay averages 7.8ppg and 2.9rpg. He is a naturalized Jamaican.

#2. Ashley Hamilton (6'7''-F-88, graduated '13, plays in United Kingdom) was the major contributor in a London CR's victory against the closely-ranked Sheffield Sharks (14-17) 93-88 in the British BBL in Friday night's game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. London City Royals (16-12) is placed fifth in the BBL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Hamilton's first season with the team. Hamilton has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg in 16 games he played so far.

#3. Brandon Brown (5'11''-PG-91, graduated '17, currently in Switzerland), who plays in the Swiss SBL was not able to help Neuchatel (2-3) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance the third-placed Neuchatel (2-3) was edged 95-93 at home by the lower-ranked Lakers (#5) in the Places 1-6 group. Brown was the top scorer with 27 points. He also added 4 assists (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 33 minutes. Brown's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is very crucial. Brown has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 16.5ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.7apg.

#4. Marin Mornar (6'9''-PF-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Austria) led BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels to a 1-point victory over the closely-ranked Dukes (21-14) 81-80 in the Austrian A Bundesliga on Thursday night. He was MVP of the game. Mornar recorded 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (12-2) are placed second in the A Bundesliga. Mornar's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This year Mornar averages 8.3ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.3bpg in 11 games.

#5. Simon Krajcovic (6'3''-PG-94, graduated '15, plays in Slovakia) was not able to secure a victory for Levice (22-10) in their game against Handlova (13-19) in the Slovakian SBL. He recorded 5 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists in 20 minutes. Levice was defeated 98-87 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Handlova (#7). This season Krajcovic averages 8.2ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.7apg.

#6. Steven Haney (6'6''-G/F-95, graduated '18, currently in Kosovo) contributed to Bashkimi's victory against the sixth-ranked Trepca 81-77 in the Kosovan Superliga last Sunday. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds (made all of his six free throws). Haney has very impressive stats this year 16.9ppg, 5.6rpg and 2.0apg in 22 games.
