Every week we bring you a list of the top former Patriots players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Shevon Thompson (7'0''-C-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Belgium) led Oostende to a victory over the eighth-ranked Kangoeroes (10-18) crushing them 97-67 in the Belgian Euromillions League on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Thompson recorded 24 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Filou Oostende (22-6) is placed first in the Euromillions League. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Thompson has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.1ppg and 7.4rpg.

   #2. Experienced Will Thomas (6'8''-PF-86, played in 2004-08, plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked CB Canarias (13-14) 88-73 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Saturday night's game. Thomas recorded 9 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Valencia Basket (16-10) is placed fourth in the Liga Endesa. Thomas has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.2apg in 27 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Georgian.

   #3. Cameron Long (6'4''-G-88, graduated '11, currently in Israel) was the main contributor in Rishon's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (12-15) 87-76 in the Israeli Winner League last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Long scored 29 points (!!!) and added 3 assists in 32 minutes. Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion (12-15) is placed eighth in the Winner League. It's Long's first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Long averages 15.1ppg, 4.1rpg, 4.3apg and 1.4spg.

   #4. Mike Morrison (6'9''-C-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Germany) could not help s.Oliver Wuerzburg (7-9) in their last game. Despite Morrison's good performance s.Oliver Wuerzburg was badly defeated 109-93 on the road by the second-ranked EWE Baskets. He scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It's Morrison's first season with the team. This year Morrison averages 7.3ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.4apg in 14 games.

   #5. Darryl Monroe (6'7''-C/F-86, graduated '09, plays in Israel) is a teammate of previously mentioned Cameron Long and both played together in the last Israeli Winner League game. Monroe contributed to Rishon's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (12-15) 87-76. He recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 14 rebounds. Monroe also added 9 assists and 3 steals in 38 minutes. This season Monroe averages 10.0ppg, 8.7rpg, 4.3apg and 1.3spg.

   #6. Gabe Norwood (6'5''-G/F-85, graduated '07, currently in Philippines), who plays in the Filipino PBA was not able to help Rain or Shine (8-3) in their last game. Despite Norwood's good performance Rain or Shine were edged 94-91 at home by the lower-ranked (#6) Hotshots. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. This year Norwood averages 6.0ppg, 4.7rpg and 2.1apg in 16 games. He is a naturalized Filipino.

   #7. Ryan Pearson (6'6''-F-90, graduated '12, plays pro in France) contributed to a JDA Dijon Bourgogne's victory against one of league's weakest teams Levallois 89-80 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA on Friday night. He recorded 12 points in 25 minutes. Pearson has relatively good stats this season 11.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg.

   #8. Jonathan Arledge (6'9''-F-91, played in 2010-14, plays in Latvia) helped Ventspils win their game against the closely-ranked Jurmala 86-78 in the Latvian LBL in Sunday night's game. Arledge recorded 6 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. It was his first game for Ventspils this season.

   #9. Bryon Allen (6'4''-G-92, graduated '14, currently in Italy), who plays in the Italian Serie A was not able to secure a victory for Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia (7-20) in their game last Sunday. Despite his good performance Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia was badly defeated 104-88 in Trieste by the much higher-ranked Alma TR (#6). Allen scored 13 points and added 4 passes in 28 minutes. Allen has relatively good stats this season 12.9ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.8apg.

   #10. Isaiah Tate (6'4''-G-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Canada) helped St. John's Edge win their game against the Titans 101-94 in the NBLCanada on Saturday night. Tate recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This year Tate averages 9.0ppg and 2.7rpg in 24 games.
