Best performed former Auburn University players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Tigers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Kenny Gabriel (6'10''-PF-89, college: Auburn, graduated '12, plays pro in Turkey) led Turk Telekom to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Istanbul BBSK (6-18) 89-82 in the Turkish BSL last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Gabriel scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 33 minutes. Turk Telekom Ankara (14-10) is placed fifth in the BSL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Gabriel's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.7ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.5apg in 23 games he played so far.

   #2. K.T. Harrell (6'4''-G-92, college: Auburn, graduated '15, plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the 15th-ranked Virtus Cassino (2-25) 85-66 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Saturday night. He scored 22 points. Edilnol Pallacanestro Biella (15-12) is placed seventh in West group. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Harrell has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 16.2ppg, 3.2rpg and 2.3apg.

   #3. Experienced Quantez Robertson (6'2''-G-84, college: Auburn, graduated '09, currently in Germany) was the major contributor in a Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt's victory against the league outsider Science City Jena (5-23) 78-72 in the German BBL in Friday night's game. Robertson recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in 36 minutes. Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (12-16) is placed 12th in the BBL. It's Robertson's tenth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 3.6apg and 1.8spg in 28 games. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #4. K.C. Ross-Miller (6'0''-PG-91, college: Auburn, graduated '15, plays pro in Slovakia) was the main contributor in Handlova's victory against the second-ranked Levice (22-10) 98-87 in the Slovakian SBL last Tuesday. He was MVP of the game. Ross-Miller recorded 32 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists. MBK Handlova (13-19) is placed seventh in the SBL. It's Ross-Miller's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 4.7apg and 1.4spg.

   #5. LaRon Smith (6'9''-F-93, college: Auburn, graduated '17, plays in Bulgaria) could not help Yambol (8-15) in their last game. Despite Smith's very good performance Yambol was crushed 90-64 at home by the second-ranked Beroe. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 12 rebounds. Smith also added 3 assists and 2 blocks in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. It was Yambol's third consecutive loss in a row. Smith's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Smith has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 9.5rpg and 2.8bpg in 12 games. He is a naturalized Virgin Islander. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #6. Malcolm Canada (6'3''-PG-95, college: Auburn, graduated '15, currently in Kosovo), who plays in the Kosovan Superliga was not able to help Prizreni (12-16) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance Prizreni was crushed 106-71 on the road by the leading Prishtina. Canada was the top scorer with 17 points. This season Canada has very high stats. He averages 18.4ppg, 5.9rpg, 4.5apg and 1.6spg.
