Every week we bring you a list of the top former Hokies players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Zach LeDay (6'7''-C/F-94, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '17, plays pro in Greece) led Olympiacos to a victory over the closely-ranked PAOK (17-4) crushing them 80-59 in the Greek A1 in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. LeDay scored 19 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 29 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (21-0) is placed first in the A1. So far his team won all twenty one games in the Regular Season. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's LeDay's first year with the team. LeDay has relatively good stats this season 10.9ppg and 4.8rpg in 22 games he played so far.

   #2. Erick Green (6'3''-PG-91, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '13, plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Zalgiris (15-15) crushing them 76-43 in the Euroleague last Tuesday. Green recorded 12 points. Fenerbahce Istanbul (25-5) is placed first in the Euroleague. This season Green averages 5.4ppg.

   #3. Jarell Eddie (6'7''-G-91, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '14, currently in France), who plays in the French Jeep ELITE ProA could not help SIG Strasbourg (16-11) to beat JL Bourg (15-12). Eddie scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes. SIG Strasbourg lost 73-83 on the road to the lower-ranked (#9) JL Bourg. Eddie has relatively good stats this year 11.2ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.5apg in 19 games.

   #4. Seth Allen (6'1''-G-94, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '17, plays pro in Lithuania) contributed to Siauliai's victory against the fifth-ranked P.Zvaigzdes (16-15) 111-97 in the Lithuanian LKL in Saturday night's game. Allen scored 12 points and added 6 passes. BC Siauliai (6-24) is placed second from the bottom (#9) in the LKL. It was his team's first victory after five consecutive loses. Allen has relatively good stats this season 12.4ppg, 3.4rpg and 4.2apg.

   #5. Experienced Angel Daniel Vassallo (6'6''-G/F-86, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '09, plays in Puerto Rico) was the major contributor in a 2-point Leones de Ponce's victory against the closely-ranked Santeros (11-7) 112-110 in the Puerto Rican BSN last Wednesday. Vassallo scored 22 points in 25 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Leones de Ponce (9-5) is placed fourth in the BSN. Vassallo has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.4apg in 14 games.

   #6. Cadarian Raines (6'9''-F-90, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '14, currently in Australia) was not able to help Knox Raiders in their game against Tigers in the Australian State League (second division). Raines recorded 8 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and made 4 blocks. His team were defeated 83-72. Raines has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 9.5rpg, 3.5apg and 2.5bpg.

   #7. Zabian Dowdell (6'3''-PG-84, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '07, plays pro in France) was not able to secure a victory for Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket in their game against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. Dowdell scored 6 points in 19 minutes. His team lost 73-82. Dowdell has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.9apg in 16 games.

   #8. Robert Krabbendam (7'0''-C-86, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '07, plays in Holland) couldn't help Rotterdam in their game against Den Helder in the Dutch Eredivisie. Krabbendam recorded 6 points. His team was defeated 80-69. This season Krabbendam averages 4.8ppg and 4.5rpg.

   #9. Joey van Zegeren (6'10''-F-90, played in 2011-15, currently in Spain) contributed to a Liberbank Oviedo's victory against the ninth-ranked Carramimbre 85-79 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Friday night. He recorded 6 points in only 13 minutes. This year van Zegeren averages 7.2ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.3bpg in 26 games.

   #10. Will Johnston (6'3''-G-92, college: Virginia Tech, graduated '15, plays pro in Australia) couldn't help Sydney City Comets in their game against Bankstown Bruins in the Australian State League (second division). He recorded 5 points and added 4 assists. It was his first game for Sydney City Comets this season. His team were defeated 91-84.
