Here is the weekly review of the top performing Monarchs alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Brandan Stith (6'7''-F-94, graduated '18, plays pro in Belgium) led Stella Artois Leuven Bears to a victory over the closely-ranked Kangoeroes (10-16) 78-71 in the Belgian Euromillions League on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Stith recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 27 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Stith's first season in pro basketball. Stella Artois Leuven Bears (6-20) is placed second from the bottom (#9) in the Euromillions League. It's Stith's first year with the team. This season he averages 9.7ppg and 7.2rpg.

#2. Kent Bazemore (6'5''-G/F-89, graduated '12, plays in the NBA). He could not help the Atlanta Hawks (29-53) to beat the Indiana Pacers (48-34) in the NBA. Bazemore scored 7 points. The Atlanta Hawks (29-53) were edged 135-134 on the road by the Indiana Pacers. It was Hawks' third consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. It's Bazemore's fifth season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Bazemore averages 11.6ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg in 67 games he played so far.

#3. Franklin Hassell (6'9''-F/C-88, graduated '11, currently in France) was not able to help Cholet Basket in their game against Limoges CSP Elite (15-12) in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. He scored 6 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 18 minutes. The league leader Cholet Basket was defeated 84-76 in Limoges by the much lower-ranked CSP Elite (#8). It's Hassell's first season with the team. Hassell has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.2apg.

#4. Experienced Valdas Vasylius (6'8''-F-83, graduated '07, plays pro in Lithuania) was not able to secure a victory for Nevezis (5-26) in their last game. Despite Vasylius' good performance the bottom-ranked Nevezis was crushed 101-60 in Panevezys by the higher-ranked (#4) Lietkabelis. He scored 10 points. It was Nevezis' 12th consecutive loss in a row. This year Vasylius averages 4.3ppg and 2.0rpg in 29 games.

#5. Trian Iliadis (6'3''-G-89, graduated '12, plays in Australia) managed to help Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves to win against the tenth-ranked Suns (2-4) crushing them 102-79 in the Australian State League (second division) in Sunday night's game. He recorded 5 points in 13 minutes. Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves (5-1) are placed first in SBL group. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Iliadis' sixth year with the team. This season Iliadis averages 5.6ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.0apg. He has also Australian passport.

#6. Denzell Taylor (6'7''-F-94, graduated '17, currently in Canada) contributed to a 3-point Moncton Magic's victory against the Riptide 107-104 in the NBLCanada last Wednesday. Taylor scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This year he averages 6.1ppg, 8.1rpg and 1.4apg in 41 games.
