Every week we bring you a list of the top former Blue Raiders players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Giddy Potts (6'2''-G-95, graduated '18, plays pro in South Korea) was the major contributor in a 2-point Inchon ET Land Elephants' victory against the closely-ranked LG Sakers (30-24) 88-86 in the South Korean KBL on Monday night. He scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 28 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Potts' first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Inchon ET Land Elephants (35-19) are placed second in the KBL. It's Potts' first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Potts averages 19.0ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.1apg and 1.5spg.

   #2. Marcos Knight (6'2''-G-89, graduated '13, plays in Germany) could not help MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg (6-10) in their last game. Despite Knight's very good performance MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg was badly defeated 91-75 on the road by the leading Bayern Muenchen. He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Knight also added 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Knight has very impressive stats this year 17.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 3.9apg and 1.6spg in 14 games he played so far.

   #3. Shawn Jones (6'8''-PF-92, graduated '14, currently in Israel) was not able to help Hapoel Unet Holon (0-0) in their game against Banco di Srd (5-1) in the FIBA Europe Cup. Jones recorded 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes. Hapoel Unet Holon was defeated 94-89 in Sassari by the leading Banco di Srd. It's Jones' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.8ppg and 3.6rpg. Jones is a naturalized Kosovan.

   #4. Perrin Buford (6'6''-F-94, graduated '16, plays pro in Russia) was not able to secure a victory for Avtodor (9-15) in their last game. Despite Buford's good performance Avtodor lost 91-95 in Krasnodar to the higher-ranked (#4) Lokomotiv. He scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. There are only two games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Buford's first season with the team. Buford has very impressive stats this year 16.1ppg, 6.7rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg in 24 games.

   #5. Reggie Upshaw (6'8''-F-95, graduated '17, plays in Spain) couldn't help Andorra (14-14) in their game against Baskonia (11-19) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Upshaw scored only 4 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 21 minutes. Andorra was edged 84-82 in Vitoria by the lower-ranked Baskonia (#11). It's Upshaw's first season with the team. This year he averages 6.4ppg and 4.1rpg.

   #6. Experienced Tim Blue (6'9''-PF-84, graduated '07, currently in France), who plays in the French Jeep ELITE ProA couldn't help Sharks Antibes (8-16) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Sharks Antibes was crushed 92-70 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked (#6) Chalon/Saor. Blue was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 4 rebounds. Blue has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.9apg in 27 games.

   #7. Darnell Harris (6'8''-F-92, graduated '16, plays pro in Greece) couldn't help Panionios in their game against PAOK in the Greek A1. Harris scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 30 minutes. His team was defeated 83-73. He has relatively good stats this season 10.1ppg and 4.6rpg.

   #8. Raymond Cintron Cortes (6'0''-PG-90, graduated '13, plays in Puerto Rico) couldn't help Capitanes de Arecibo in their game against Brujos in the Puerto Rican BSN. He recorded 7 points and added 3 assists. His team was badly defeated by 20 points 88-68. This year Cintron Cortes averages 8.9ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.9apg in 17 games.

   #9. Bruce Massey (6'3''-G-90, graduated '13, currently in Canada) led Cape Breton Highlanders to a victory over the Halifax Hurricanes 105-94 in the NBLCanada last Wednesday. Massey was MVP of the game. He recorded 37 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists in 47 minutes. This season Massey has very high stats. He averages 23.4ppg, 7.7rpg, 5.8apg and 2.8spg.
