Every week we bring you a list of the top former Ragin' Cajuns players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Kasey Shepherd (6'3''-G-94, graduated '16, plays pro in Georgia) led Batumi to a surprising victory over the league leader Kutaisi (14-3) 97-89 in the Georgian Superleague last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Shepherd scored 30 points (!!!), grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 34 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Basketball Club Batumi (8-9) is placed seventh in the Superleague. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Shepherd has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.1ppg, 6.8rpg, 5.8apg and 3.7spg in nine games he played so far.

#2. Frank Bartley IV (6'3''-G-94, graduated '18, plays in Canada) could not help the Saint John Riptide (17-23) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the Saint John Riptide (#4) was edged 107-104 on the road by the Moncton Miracles. Bartley IV was the top scorer with 32 points. He also added 7 assists. This season Bartley IV has very high stats. He averages 19.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 3.2apg and 1.3spg.

#3. Elfrid Payton (6'3''-G-94, graduated '14, currently in the NBA) was not able to help the New Orleans Pelicans in their game against the Golden State Warriors (57-25) in the NBA. It was not Payton's best game last Tuesday. He scored only 3 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 25 minutes. The New Orleans Pelicans (33-49) lost 103-112 in Oakland to the Golden State Warriors. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. Payton has relatively good stats this year 10.6ppg, 5.2rpg and 7.6apg in 42 games.

#4. Brian Williams (6'5''-G/F-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Estonia) was not able to secure a victory for Rapla (8-0) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the league leader Rapla was crushed 83-60 at home by the second-ranked Parnu. Williams was the top scorer with 16 points. He also added 3 assists. This season Williams averages 8.0ppg, 1.5rpg and 2.5apg.

#5. Tyren Johnson (6'8''-F-88, graduated '10, plays in France) couldn't help ADA Blois Basket 41 (13-12) in their last game. Despite Johnson's good performance ADA Blois Basket 41 lost 73-84 in Vichy to the second-ranked JA Vichy. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Johnson also added 4 passes in 26 minutes.
