We bring you last week's top former Rainbow Warriors players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Matt Lojeski (6'6''-SF-85, graduated '07, plays pro in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked AEK (17-7) crushing them 104-72 in a derby game in the Greek A1 on Wednesday night. He scored 10 points in 20 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (19-1) is placed first in the A1. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Lojeski averages 7.5ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.8apg. He is a naturalized Belgian.

   #2. Christian Standhardinger (6'9''-F-89, graduated '14, plays in Philippines) was the major contributor in a SM Beermen's victory against the closely-ranked TNT Ka Tropa (7-4) 96-86 in the Filipino PBA in Wednesday night's game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. San Miguel Beermen (7-4) is placed fifth in the PBA. Standhardinger has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.7ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg in 10 games he played so far. Standhardinger has also Filipino passport.

   #3. Garrett Nevels (6'2''-G-92, graduated '15, currently in Spain), who plays in the Spanish Liga Endesa could not help Delteco Gipuzkoa BC San Sebastian (6-20) to beat La ICL Manresa (15-12). He scored 5 points, had 5 boards, passed 3 assists and added 4 steals in 24 minutes. The bottom-ranked Delteco Gipuzkoa BC San Sebastian was defeated 84-74 on the road by the much higher-ranked La ICL Manresa (#6). It's Nevels' first season with the team. Nevels has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg.

   #4. Brandon Spearman (6'3''-G/F-91, graduated '14, plays pro in France) was not able to help Entente Orleans 45 (18-8) in their last game. Despite his good performance Entente Orleans 45 was edged 84-82 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked (#4) C'Chartres. Spearman scored 11 points. Spearman has relatively good stats this year 13.9ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.5apg in 25 games. Spearman is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #5. Ozren Pavlovic (6'8''-F-94, graduated '13, plays in Czech Republic) was not able to secure a victory for BK Pardubice (20-16) in their game against BK Decin (20-16) in the Czech Republic NBL. Pavlovic scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. But the fifth-placed BK Pardubice (20-16) was defeated 80-69 in Decin by the higher-ranked BK Decin (#4) in the Places 1-8 group. The Second Stage already ended. Pavlovic has relatively good stats this season 12.6ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.9apg.

   #6. Douglas Kurtz (7'0''-C-87, graduated '11, currently in Brazil) couldn't help SKY/Basquete Cearense in their game against Mogi in the Brazilian NBB. He recorded 6 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. His team lost 69-77. Kurtz has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg and 7.4rpg in 27 games.

   #7. Isaac Fotu (6'8''-F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Germany) managed to help Ratiopharm Ulm to win against the closely-ranked s Oliver Baskets 95-94 in the German BBL on Saturday night. He recorded only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 18 minutes. This season Fotu averages 7.7ppg and 4.5rpg. He has also New Zealand nationality.

   #8. Bill Amis (6'9''-PF-87, graduated '11, plays in Belgium) contributed to a 1-point Crelan Okapi Aalstar's victory against the third-ranked Spirou Charleroi 74-73 in the Belgian Euromillions League in Monday night's game. Amis scored only 4 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 3 blocks. This year Amis averages 3.7ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.2bpg in 17 games.

   #9. Paul Campbell (6'10''-F/C-87, graduated '11, currently in Australia) led NW Tasmania Thunder to a victory against the ninth-ranked Huskies 102-95 in the Australian State League (second division) last Saturday. Campbell recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds in 33 minutes. Campbell has relatively good stats this season 13.3ppg and 8.3rpg.

   #10. Davis Rozitis (7'1''-C-90, graduated '14, plays pro in Spain) contributed to a 3-point Rio Ourense Termal's victory against the ninth-ranked Caceres Basket 83-80 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Friday night. Rozitis recorded 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Rozitis has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.1bpg in 31 games. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
