Best performed former Morehead State University players in pro basketball in last week games

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Eagles players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Demonte Harper (6'4''-G-89, graduated '11, plays pro in Italy) could not help Sidigas AV (14-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance Sidigas AV was edged 97-96 at home by the higher-ranked (#5) Alma TR. Harper recorded 14 points and added 5 assists in 24 minutes. It was Sidigas AV's fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Harper averages 10.0ppg, 3.4rpg and 3.7apg in nine games he played so far.

   #2. Kenneth Faried (6'8''-F-89, graduated '11, plays in the NBA) led Houston Rockets to an easy victory against the Utah Jazz (50-32) crushing them 122-90 in the NBA on Sunday night. Faried recorded 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The Houston Rockets have a solid 53-29 record this season. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Faried has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 12.8ppg and 8.2rpg.

   #3. Karam Mashour (6'6''-SF-91, graduated '15, currently in Israel) was not able to help Bnei Hertzeliya in their game against Hapoel Tel-Aviv (12-15) in the Israeli Winner League, despite his very good performance in Wednesday night's game. Mashour scored 15 points, made 3 passes and 4 steals in 35 minutes. But the bottom-ranked Bnei Hertzeliya was badly defeated 90-73 on the road by the higher-ranked (#6) Hapoel Tel-Aviv. It's Mashour's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.8apg and 1.5spg in 24 games.

   #4. Angelo Warner (6'2''-PG-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Hungary) led Sopron KC to a victory against the third-ranked DEAC (13-14) 91-81 in the Hungarian A Division last Wednesday. Warner recorded 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Sopron KC (13-15) is placed fourth in Places 6-10 group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Warner has very high stats. He averages 19.0ppg, 5.3rpg, 5.4apg and 1.6spg.

   #5. Anthony Elechi (6'8''-F-93, graduated '16, plays in United Kingdom) was not able to secure a victory for Surrey Scorchers (5-23) in their game against London Lions (23-4) in the British BBL, despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game. Elechi had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 23 minutes. But Surrey Scorchers was crushed 93-70 in London by the leading Lions. It was Surrey Scorchers' fifth consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Elechi has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.3apg in 15 games. He is a naturalized Nigerian. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #6. Brent Arrington (6'3''-G-92, graduated '16, currently in Canada) couldn't help the Saint John Riptide in their game against the Moncton Miracles in the NBLCanada. Arrington did not beat the league record on Wednesday evening. He scored only 3 points. His team was edged 107-104. Arrington has relatively good stats this season 10.4ppg, 4.1rpg, 4.8apg and 1.3spg.

   #7. Chad Posthumus (6'11''-C-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Canada) managed to help Halifax Hurricanes in a victory against the Highlanders crushing them 121-76 in the NBLCanada last Saturday. He scored only 4 points in 9 minutes on the court. This year Posthumus averages 5.3ppg and 2.5rpg in 19 games.

   #8. Xavier Moon (6'2''-G-95, graduated '17, plays in Canada) couldn't help the London Lightning in their game against the Titans in the NBLCanada. Despite his very good performance on Sunday night He recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 11 rebounds. Moon also added 4 assists and 3 steals. Moon has relatively good stats this season 13.7ppg, 4.9rpg, 4.1apg and 1.4spg.
